There's an upcoming RPG for PS4 called Blue Reflection which looks like your average pretty girls JRPG at a first glance, but I can't deny the music and the menus aesthetics are pretty cool.
Quake most definitely oozes style. That Reznor soundtrack is so good!

Maybe I'm alone in this but I always enjoyed the style of Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest
Every Vanillaware game. Kamitani is a god.
What style exactly does this have ?Kingdom Heats 2.
Why does it have to be a multi hundred dollar game...
Came to post this one. There's Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Not quite on the same level as P5 but it's definitely up there in terms of style.
Wow, I completely forgot about the fact that there was a Megaten game on Wii U. Mind blown. I wonder if they'll use P5's HD demons for a Switch follow up?
You just made me remember:The Wolf Among Us]
Oh yeah, and I'm the dumb dumb that sold it back it in the day when its value had only risen back up to $50.
My answer is Sonic. The Sonic franchise in general has generally sold itself on style. Sonic is "cool" and Sonic is "fast," and each game builds on this overall concept in a way that bleeds through into the gameplay and presentation. I think my favorite example of this is the Adventure series' soundtracks, which took a unique, "hip" approach that still stands out to this day.
The UI for Blue Reflection is soooo pretty and aesthetically pleasing. I'm a huge sucker for all the pastels, too....There's an upcoming RPG for PS4 called Blue Reflection which looks like your average pretty girls JRPG at a first glance, but I can't deny the music and the menus aesthetics are pretty cool.
Ridge Racer Type 4 wins in every department: UI Design, tracks, music, gameplay... the definition of cool.
First titles that come to mind for me:
- WipEout HD / Fury
Ugh, thats pretty rough. How good is the gameplay though? I've been debating buying it for probably 2 years now.
