Games You've Beaten in April

Freedom Cry and Max Payne 3.

Being my first MP game, I was really surprised with how cinematic it was. Really enjoyed the noir atmosphere.

At one point my mother asked what I watching and I told her I was actually playing a game.

Haven't played too much, so just one. It was waaaaaaaay overdue though.

Let's seeeee...

Fez (PS4) - Beat it on 360, beat it again on PS4 and enjoyed the replay.
Infamous: Second Son (PS4) - Was a little disappointed honestly, I think it was a fairly substantial step back from the first two games.
Titanfall (360) - Well, "beat" it in that you "beat" the campaign. REALLY enjoying playing this though
Final Fantasy X HD (PS3) - Liked it, battle system is still great but the writing realllly didn't hold up for me, last time I played this was 10+ years ago though.
SteamWorld Dig (PS4) - Beat it on 3DS before and beat it again on PS4. Still a fantastic game
Octodad: Dadliest Catch (PS4) - Did a playthrough, enjoyable but I don't see myself ever returning to it. Very short too.
Trials Fusion (PS4) - TRAILS BABY! Loved it, I'm continuing to play it for medals and such.

All on PC

Dark Souls II
The Wolf Among Us Episode 3
Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Part 1
Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Part 2
Steins;Gate (True Ending)

Great month for me. 2nd month in a row with 4 beaten games. In April:

PS4
inFamous: Second Son - 2nd playthrough and platinum trophy

PS3
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

PS2
Shadow of Memories

Replayed Super Mario 3D Land, did everything again and got five shiny stars this time. Also put in ~20 hours into Tales of Vesperia but I'm probably only around half way through that.

Mega Man Battle Network 1, 2, and Network Transmission.

Network Transmission especially due to its bipolar difficulty, it's nice but it seems to not be able to decide when it wants to ease up or crank up the difficulty :u

- Dragon's Crown (Vita): Gorgeous game, but not amazing beyong that. Not good enough to keep me interested in doing the post game stuff. Rating = Good
- Ys Origin (PC): Very fun game. Beat it twice (once with Hugo/Normal, once with the 3rd character/Hard). Great boss design as usual with Ys. Soundtrack is top notch too and the game is just about long enough (8-9 hours a playthrough, the first time). Rating: Excellent
- Ratchet & Clank A Crack in Time (PS3): Probably the best PS3 entry and the most polished. I recommend playing on Hard, this game isn't challenging at all. But the series got a bit stale since a while, and I'm gonna stop playing those until there's really something new to them. Rating: Good

Already beat 17 games this year, and last year was 27. So if I keep the pace, I should beat at least 30 games this year. Backlog, hear me out: you're going down!

Shadow Warrior (Redux): did this in just a few days, rather easy after Duke despite the abundance of tough mooks.
The Plutonia Experiment: much more challenging, took about a week with many a legendary moment. Damn it, Dario!

That's all. I'm still chomping away at various old FPSes (Blood, Marathon, Quake).

Dark Souls II (I really liked it, but I'm not convinced it's as good as the first)
Infamous: Second Son (Platinum-ed)
FRACT: OSC (My personal favorite of the month)

Kirby: Canvas Curse (4 / 5)
Resident Evil 4 PC (5 / 5)

Kind of not a lot, but both games were dope af. Had a few others I got a fair amount into but didn't complete. Maybe for May.

Ass Creed 4 (PS3)
Datura (PS3)
MotoGP 13 (Vita)
Sound Shapes (Vita)
Dead Nation (Vita)
Brothers (PS3)

Had a busy month on the PS machines as I got my eye on a PS4 but want to clear a chunk of backlog to alleviate my guilt.

FTL
Thief (new one)
Bioshock Infinite + DLC (Burial At Sea Part 1 & 2)
Batman Origins DLC (Initiation + Cold, Cold Heart)

And now I'm wrapping up Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines.

games beaten:4

w101 - 9/10
metal gear GZ :8/10
Infamous SS: 8/10
final fantasy x HD : 10/10 just wow

Enjoyed:

Infamous Second Son
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
Contrast
Tales of Xillia
Outlast
Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy

Didn't Enjoy:

Castle of Illusion (Dat Grant Kirkhope music tho)
MGS: Peace Walker
MGS: Ground Zeroes
Knack

If you couldn't tell, I just got a PS4.

Vita:
Zero Escape 2: VLR (my first plat!)
Thomas Was Alone
Persona 4 Golden
Rayman Origins
X360
Gears of War 3
PC:
Xcom: Enemy Within
BI: Burial at Sea 1&2

Back to the Future: The Game (The Telltale Games version). I bought it during that PSN Flash Sale a few weeks ago. I was really enjoying it until the story got really wacky and repetitive. Still like it overall. The ending scene was a groaner of a moment, though.

FEZ 100% completion (actually 200-something according to the save) on PS3+PSVita.

Not only happy about finishing it, it also was the first time I took full advantage of cross-save.

God Of War: Chains Of Olympus HD
Incredible. Must play. Quite challenging too.

Earth Defense Force 2017
I have no idea why people thought this is a better game than Insect Armageddon. It's inferior in every way. Still kind of fun though.

The Tomb Raider
Had its good moments. Just exploring the bigger hub stages, hunting, finding stashes, that's really well done. Also had a lot of bad moments, which drag the whole thing back to merely being an "ok" experience. Like, entire levels that are effectively 20 minute QTEs. Absolutely unacceptable use of analog sticks in QTEs. "Wave"-style combat that way overstays its welcome, given the shooting is kind of not working quite well enough and it has these "idiot savant"-style enemies that can lob a grenade right on your face despite having no line of sight and all that.

Grand Theft Auto V (finally), Devil May Cry 3, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and there was something else, can't remember what. Been a surprisingly good month for me.
