Games you've spent/will spend 200+ hours on...

i wish i could find a single player game that could captivate me for 200 hours

i have played a shit ton of thps & street fighter games with friends, so that's probably up there

Street Fighter 2.
Street Fighter 3.
Street Fighter 4.

I sense a pattern.

Guitar Hero 2
Rock Band
Rock Band 2

Hmm, another pattern...

I think I will put a couple of hundred or more into Diablo 3 UEE

This is the most addictive game I have ever played.

Have Spent:

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
Fallout 3
Fallout: New Vegas
Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

(yeah, Bethesda games, man. I can't get enough)

Will Spend:

Destiny

In the past, that come to mind:
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 6, 7, 10 and 12
Secret of Mana
Mario Kart (all except 8 which is closing in)
Super Smash Bros Melee
Diablo 2 and 3
Morrowind
Action Quake 2
Everquest
World of Warcraft
Team Fortress 2
Call of Duty: MW2, BO, MW3, BO2 and Ghosts

Upcoming games:
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Super Smash Bros WiiU

Part of me is thinking there will be fewer games added to this in the future due to a recent promotion and family stuff. Another part is unsure since I've gone back to picking just one game and playing that pretty extensively - most recently Ghosts' Extinction mode..

Definitely Morrowind, possibly Oblivion and Skyrim. COD4 multiplayer (never touched the campaign), Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear SP&MP, and Age of Empires 2 single player (campaign and bots) for sure. I put in a lot of hours with Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but probably not 200.

Morrowind 1000+
Oblivion 1000+
Skyrim 500+
Fallout 3 1000+
Demon's Souls 300+
Dark Souls 300+
Also probably 1000+ hours in Halo 3, both multiplayer and Forging.
Bloodborne, I'm sure will be up there.

I know those look like crazy amounts, but that's cause I worked a job where I'd have a week off at a time and not many other obligations. Plus I liked making new characters :)

Games I've put 200+ into last 5ish years:
-Smite
-Heroes of Newerth
-League
-Dota 2
-Diablo 3
-Guild Wars 2
-Dark Souls

Games I plan to invest a lot of time in:
-Lords of the Fallen if the game is any good.
-Dark Souls 2 if the last DLC is any good.
-Killing Floor 2
-Pillars of Eternity.

Quake 1 ( 15 years playing qwtf, qn, qw )
Quake 3
Dota 1 ( warcraft 3 maps )
Dota 2
Forza
Gw2
Demons Souls
Dark Souls

To be honest, I'm not sure I've put that much time into any game, ever. The closest one is probably Perfect Dark but I think I've only hit maybe mid-100.

Have:

Of games that I've played recently, three have cracked or will crack the 200+ hour mark without much difficulty: Crusader Kings II, the Football Manager series, and Final Fantasy X (I haven't put in 200+ hours on the HD remaster, but I easily played 200+ hours on the original). Beyond that, I've probably played 200+ hours of the last NCAA Football entry released by EA, and I played Pokemon Blue as a kid for years on end, so I'm sure I cracked the 200-hour mark on that. And I probably broke 200 hours on Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec.

As I get older, I have more games I want to play, more games and systems I can afford to purchase, and fewer hours to devote to a single title. I can't think of a single title I'm awaiting on which I'm likely to crack the 200-hour barrier, no matter how good the game will be. The number of hours in the day hasn't decreased, I'm just using them much differently than I did compared to 10-15 years ago, when I could get home at 2:30 on a weekday and play one game with minimal interruption for 7, 8 hours.

Aside from Beth games and Garrysmod

LittleBigPlanet 2

Will do the same for 3.

Getting close with Battlefield 4

Borderlands 2
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Battlefied 3
Battlefied 4
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
Grand Theft Auto 4
Grand Theft Auto 5
Max Payne 2 (played through more times then I can count w/mods)
Max Payne 3 (multiple playthroughs and lots of time online, really enjoyed it when it was more active).
Payday 2
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops

What are the games and upcoming games that you put/will put so many hours into?

Uhm...

Any Street Fighter and King of Fighters chapter that i bought.

Darkstalkers

Disgaea (the first one)

The original Mario Kart

Most probably any Halo chapter

Warlords on Amiga

UFO: Enemy Unknown

Final Fantasy Tactics

Civilization (1 to 4, do not like 5)

Age of Wonders

Tekken 3

Titanfall

Soul Calibur

In the next future i'll probably hit such a goal with Diablo 3 and Killer Instinct.

Pretty sure I've spent at least close to 200 hours on Final Fantasy VII.

The only games I'm sure I've spent that much time, thanks to Steam's playtime tracking, are Team Fortress 2 and SolForge. Don't know how I still spend an hour a day on the latter. I can see hitting 200 hours on CS:GO - currently at 104 hours.

Having a hard time thinking of any upcoming games I see spending that much time with. Most likely some Vita title. I have spent way too much time playing Rayman Legends (god damn Aweso Me! -trophy) and Treasures of Montezuma since they're so easy to pick up.

Advance Wars DS
Animal Crossing
Pokemon X/Y
Tomodachi Life
Super Smash Bros. Melee
SMT: Devil Survivor
SMT: Strange Journey
Soul Calibur II
Worms Armageddon

OP pretty much nails it with the games I'm planning to play 200+ hours with the addition of Monster Hunter 4

Monster Hunter 3U
Animal Crossing
Tales of Vesperia
Borderlands 1&2
Pokemon
Mass Effect 3
Sims 1-3
Phantasy Star Portable 2
Tetris

Oh god, too many

Super Smash Bros. Melee
Sonic Adventure 2
Runescape
Mario kart Super Circuit
Mario Kart DS
Metroid Prime Hunters
Gears of War
Halo 3
Mass Effect
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Gears of War 2
Mario Kart Wii (?)
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Battlefield 3
Mass Effect 3
And probably Destiny

Uh okay, maybe not as many as I thought, but still too many.

possibly Metroid, Zelda II, or Mario 3, definitely Marathon 1, 2 and Infinity, definitely Mario 64, maybe Myth the Fallen lords, definitely Unreal Tournament and Quake 3, probably Minecraft, probably Dark Souls, maybe Spelunky

Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros, Soul Calibur, Super Monkey Ball, GTA III and San Andreas were all in the 100+ range but I doubt any hit 200. Doubt much else hits 100, maybe Final Fantasy IV, Link to the Past, The Journeyman Project, Myst, Banjo Kazooie, or Ocarina of Time.

Put in around 500 hours onto Black Ops2 on the ps3.. and hoping to do so on Advanced Warfare if its any good
Also SMASH HYPE!

And then at least 200 hours in each of Guitar Hero 2/3 and RB1/2/3. I know that I have at least 209 hours in RB3 (started tracking with raptr) and that was the least played of all of them.

Oh, I wish there was some way to see exactly how much I've spent in the rest of them..

I think I like rhythm games.

I could see an Elder Scrolls VI, Street Fighter V, and Red Dead Redemption 2 eating a loooot of my time whenever they release...

World of Warcract
Diablo II

that's probably it. Doubt I'll ever spend that much time with any one game ever again.

Never have and very likely never will. I don't have even an inkling of an addictive personality, so I usually will get bored of games before I've reached 30 hours or so.

Although the closest I ever got was Halo 2. I figure I did about 100+ hours on that game.

Starcraft 2 is probably my most played. Not sure of the exact time but I have several thousand games played across both accounts and have gone through both campaigns a handful of times, plus plenty of time spent in the arcade over the years. So.. gonna guess at least ~4000 or so hours in total.

Star Wars Galaxies is next, again with thousands of hours.

After that probably WoW or The Old Republic, with about 1300 hours each. Diablo 3 I'm at around 600 hours too.

Then it's just my Steam games I think:
Left 4 Dead - 394 hours
Left 4 Dead 2 - 361 hours
Dota 2 - 342 hours

PlanetSide 2 is also close at 181 hours.

Mass Effect 1, 2, 3
Call of Duty 4
Modern Warfare 2

Those are the only ones off the top of my head I've put that amount of hours into (ME2 & ME3 may not quite be there but are definitely right on the border). There's probably one or two more but I can't think of any, maybe San Andreas when I was younger.

I'm hoping when I build my PC that I find a multiplayer game that I really gel with.

Have:

Street Fighter 4
Halo 2
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Star Fox 64
Street Fighter 2
Mario Kart 64
Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec
SSX Tricky
Mortal Kombat
Soul Calibur
Tales of Vesperia

Will:

Destiny
DriveClub (i hope so)
Super Smash Bros Wii U

I've logged more time than is healthy into:
Oblivion
Diablo 2
World of Warcraft
Dark Age of Camelot

I forsee myself spending 200+ hours on:
Diablo 3
...
...
That's probably about it.

I love playing games, but I rarely spend more than two weeks interested in any one title, and as a result, I usually don't log more than like 50 hours on anything.

I play a lot of games, but League of Legends is my only game with 200+ hours. Currently 275 and rising. Black Ops II is close, with 150 hours.

Call of Duty 4: 480 hours
Call of Duty Black Ops: 300 hours
Final Fantasy X: 350 hours
GTA San Andreas: 250+ hours
GTA V: 240 hours
GTA IV: 203 hours
Max Payne 3: 240 hours
Dark Souls: 220 hours
Mass Effect 1: 200+ hours
Metal Gear Solid 2: 200+ hours
Halo 4: 267 hours
Elder Scrolls Oblivion: 200+ hours

In no particular order.

WoW
Each of the Disgaeas (I still actually don't know what it is about these things that draws me in so much)
Persona 4 (over 4 and Golden)
LoL
Dota 2
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Pokemon Y
Skyrim
Advance Wars Dual Strike.
Maybe, maybe FFIX over multiple playthroughs.
Halo 3 and Reach.

No idea what's upcoming that'll get added here, at least until Fallout 4. Most games I go through seem to be a 20-50 hour trek these days.

200 hours is a long time. I've only spent that much time with a single game when I was into custom maps and mods and played a lot of multiplayer:

Doom
Quake
Quake 2
Half-Life
Counter-Strike
BF1942
UT2004
BF2
Half-Life 2
Gears of War
Gears of War 2
Gears of War 3

I don't see myself playing another game for 200 hours in the future.

Forgot about Halo 2. I definitely played that more than any other online FPS. I minimally dropped 200 hours there.

<edit> Mass Effect 1 as well. I must have played that thing through to completion at least six times, and had several other partial playthroughs.

Hmm,in rough chronological order:

Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy 6 (replayed this and Mana a lot as a kid)
Chrono Trigger (new game + ad infinitum)
GoldenEye
Final Fantasy 7
Unreal Tournament 99
Diablo 2
Melee
World of Warcraft (I'd like some days back, please)
Tales of Vesperia
Skyrim
Diablo 3/RoS

Expected:
Mario Kart 8
Xenoblade (I'll finish it this time)

As I've gotten older, the disposable income contributes to an ever-growing backlog, and I don't find myself finishing and/or replaying games as much.
