Ratatouille might have been my most disappointing Pixar movie. I thought it was among their weaker output and I expected great things.

I'd definitely put it in my top 3 favorite pixar films.

I watched this at a church camp of all places, all the kids were crying. I'm still baffled they chose that film to show us, we were like 9.

They showed that to us in school, around the same age. Kids were also crying. The teacher ended up turning it off. Not sure what they expected.

As somebody who enjoys most Disney movies, it was a huge disappointment after how great Princess and the Frog was. I really wanted to like it. My wife absolutely hated it and mostly swore of Disney because of it and the general Disney movie trends. She's a lifelong Disney fan too.
