Giant Bomb Says Goodbye to PlayStation Home - Live Stream

Remember the GDC presentation for this and how everyone was freaking out over how Sony had saved the PS3 with this and Little Big Planet

I was hyped for the feature to be able to stream your Blu-rays to your PSN friends while in PS Home in your "home movie theater". Oh course that feature never came

When does sony shut down the servers completely?

So do we know for sure it won't end up like the Xbox Live 1.0 stream where XBL couldn't be pulled down because people (they included) were still populating it? That was hilarious, Ryan started angrily tweeting at Major Nelson by 2am.

PA Archive is fascinating to go through for old references on how things were received.

lol Despite the hype it still didn't make their situation any less dire.
Main problem was that, their was supposed to be a beta like 3 weeks after GCD hype but got delay for about 3 months and then it was closed USA only beta and then open USA only beta and then full beta release USA first in the late fall 2007.
By that time the hype was gone.

Also all those months of that beta word of month was terrible about it, specially the loading and slow movement for everything.
