What?
I literally said the inside Xbox demo was staged.
Is there proof it was staged?

Breakdowns all over youtube.
Ok, so you take these analyses as proof I take it. Same for Google. You claim it was in a controlled environment. How do you know this? Because they said this is not a test?
Most of the time Netflix is still fine.Cool. What happens the minute you leave your home?
They actually had behind the scenes of the camera for MS, it was staged.
As for google they clearly showed that the buttons that were pressed were opposite of what was on screen. Thats not latency, latency is if she pressed up and there was a delay of something on screen going up not toward the left and down.
how do you know Google's was not staged.
Is there anyone here who could possibly tell me why cloud gaming is the future? Why do I want this for over having a dedicated home console in my living room NOT on the cloud? What are the benefits? For the life of me I cannot see how this becomes the future for gaming and become a positive thing. I want lag free gaming and we are pretty darn close to it now with 4k hdr sets reducing lag greatly.
Please, what am I missing? Why do ALL the companies feel the need to push this cloud gaming as the future for gaming???
Huh?
I said it WAS staged.
Ok so to clarify, you're saying both Microsoft and Google's presentations were staged, correct? If so, you're saying the same thing I was saying and this conversation is pointless because we are saying the same thing.
Well it is the future, the distant future. You still think we will be gaming on consoles 50 years from now?. Hell in the distant future out whole lives will probably be played in a fake Matrix style world while we sit in our chairs plugged in through a port in our brain. When people say it's the future, I would hope they mean it something that co-exists with consoles, not replaces them. I think there's room for both.
There was a rumor for $20 a month but that would be suicide and cost $240 a year. So that's likely false.

I said that Microsofts OTHER demos were real. The Inside xbox one was staged.

Probably more chance of ISP's putting prices UP if Stadia was a huge success.I think the one definite good general side effect that can come out of this is it would push/force ISPs provide better/faster and affordable internet worldwide, because it's Google and everyone's playing.
Or maybe they'll just have a Google Stadia no data cap plan.
It reduces the financial barrier to entry, and therefore opens up the market to a much bigger audience. If you care about playing FPSes on PC, or low latency input in fighting games then this will never be for you (I'm in that boat too), but realistically this will be a good option for a lot of people. Expect games to get designed around it, the same way console shooters have auto aim to make up for the control scheme, games made for this thing will probably fudge your inputs to make up for the lag.Is there anyone here who could possibly tell me why cloud gaming is the future? So what happened to Sega and all this Dreamcast type?
It was all but a dream.

Welp all those outlets saying they had insiders say it's a console were wrong. Not even a box.
Worst presenters of any company ever.I have no problem with a streaming service. Just like Netflix isn’t preventing me from or holding me back from going to the cinema or buying uhd blurays, streaming services aren’t going to hold me back from buying games I really want to play..
however if the latency of playing games on your service is as bad as it is right now on all the services and it makes me feel like I’m drunk while playing, then that is too much of a sacrifice for the convenience..
Also why did all the presenters(except Jade Raymond) seem like the where holding the keynote for world war 3?
Does it hurt to smile just a little?
It’s a freaking game service reveal not an arms deal..
Uhh, the Switch can download games.I think not being able to download games will save the Switch.
I think that's his point.Uhh, the Switch can download games.
How is this going to affect game streaming? Ie. Twitch.
