Right now the link is not available. Ryaaan can still send out invites because he hasn't closed the link since Google took it down for the day (way too many invites got sent). But apparently even though they took down the link, the service for inviting people is still there.

Yeah, I'll restate this for the new page. The first invite I sent out tonight was to my friend Bob who wasn't online at the time. Since then a lot of my invites have been able to login, but then logins were disabled due to traffic. Bob eventually got online to receive his invite and was in the same position as the late invites.

This leads me to believe every single invite is very valid, but will just have to wait for G+ to be able to support the capacity.

Also, anyone inquiring about the link to the invite page, it links directly to https://plus.google.com/circles - which obviously doesn't work for the invite prompt. So I don't think I can be of any help to others wanting to invite people at the moment.

But as I said, just keep PMing me with emails and I'll keep shooting out the invites. At least for the next couple hours before I need to sleep.

Looks like it an issue with their mobile versions, can access full sites no issues

More specifically looks like an issue with the redirect from http://google.com, surfing to http://www.google.com works fine, other words ignore my previous post about it not working

Uhm... I'm checking from my iPod Touch and it all seems to work just fine. Even Google+ on my Touch works fine.

This is what I'm using to invite GAFers, you can see the link to it faded out on the right side. When I click that invite icon, this prompt pops up.

Not at all, I've been inviting as they come in.

Yeah all you need to do after being invited is to login at plus.google.com. I think a lot of people are missing that (it even took me a minute to figure out).

That way people can only see your email if they quote your post.

should note that it's full now, so while I have the invite, it's not possible to get in as they have locked it down for a bit. I think the invite stays valid though so you can keep checking back.
