Google+ Invite Begging thread

Me, for a little while longer before I need sleep.

I thought that might work.

Not sure what Google think though lol.

So in theory you can get in by:

1. Sending your email to someone who has an account
2. Having the person add you to a circle and share anything with you
3. You joining through that
 
The share thing is slow now and may have stopped working for a bit but has been working and is how I got in and have got a few others in.
 
Yep the method does work. Done 3 people so far and they've said they've gotten in.

I don't know how long it will last. Best thing I can say is PM me and Ryan your emails. Going out to tennis in 15 or so minutes.
 
I just switched logged in gmail accounts and I got the option to make a new account.

Easy way to sign up your other accounts :)

How do I do that? How do I add someone to a circle?

EDIT: Wait, that's just to have an invite...? I was already invited by Ryann, I just want to not get the exceeded capacity messege...

Nope. This method seems to get people to actually sign up.
 
Ape, awesome job finding the loophole.

Everyone else, I'm leaving now, but I'll leave the invite page open just in case. But try Ape's method, seems to be working pretty well.

hey Ape.. I got ur email... how do i sign up? I clicked ur link and it said exceeded? I haven' been following this thread so I'm not sure if there's some trick to registering? lol.. thanks man
 
Doesn't seem to work. When I click "View or comment on blabla's post" » it throws me to another page, with the button "Join Google+" which throws me back to the plus.google.com project site. How is it for you guys?

i tried the view or comment on post thing.. it said Join Google+ afterwards.. and threw me back on the default page where it says exceeded... hmm
 
i just tried it on a spare gmail account and i went straight to the sign-up page where you should see your first and last name.

you have to click on the red button that says "learn more about google+".

The sharing method sounds intruiging, I had an invite from Ryan (thank you!) but if anyone wants to try sharing something with me on the site on nickxdrew (at) thatsite I'd really appreciate it, thank you! :)
 
Yeah, seems like they've disabled anyone new getting in... for now. I'm sure those invites will start working again once they unclog their networks or something.

Hmm... luck of the draw? Or maybe they're capping invites per person and any other invites from that person get redirected to the capacity message? :|

-go to the circles page

-add the email to any circle

-go back to the home page

-click on the circle with all the emails

-write something

-a warning message should pop up asking if you're aware you're sending emails to people not on google+

-hit the share button

I have two friends at work here who want to join, is it just a simple case of me adding them to a circle and messaging them?
