Google+ Invite Begging thread

A little about me:

First off, I'm a big fan of Google. I'm 28. I work part-time. And i'm going to have a baby in August.

I would love a Google+ invite. PEES

Add people to a circle and then share something with that circle. I've PMed everyone that has sent me a request. Can't do anymore though. Gotta go.

I think this may solve my issue of keeping friends/family informed about my new life in Korea, without inviting them to Facebook!

Man, I don't even get any emails about it any more when people try to get me in.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help. Looks like Google just really doesn't like me. I give up... for now.

Before I go into the office I was able to invite someone.
Now it's gone!! WTF? Haven't read the whole thread...but they lock up invites?
I'm still showing 70+ but it's not working.
 
I wasn't able to get in : / . Tried the capacity bypass with no luck, and now Wario's post is gone from the servers? Things might me moving way too fast xD. Anyone else getting this same issue?
 
I'm still adding and inviting anyone who PMs me - my MicroGAF circle is now apparently 47 members strong. Yikes!

Not to sound like an asshole, but I'm only adding the people who PM me directly... I'm trying to at least look like I'm doing my day-job at the same time, so I don't want to trawl through the begging threads looking for people to add.

If you PM me, though, I will certainly invite and comment for you within an hour.
 
Invites were taken down.
I created a circle called "new" and add the two Gaffers that PM me. As soon the invites are activated I will send you one.

This shouldn't detour you from asking someone else for one, but I will definitely send one out when available.
 
I'm not sure if I did this right, but I started adding random people who I thought are in NeoGAF. So I created a circle called "My NeoGAF Circle", and all I do is add people and it's up to them if they accept it or not?

No, adding people to a circle is completely up to you, no one can "deny" it. It just means that when you share something with that circle, only the people in it will be able to see what you shared.

However I do not think it is working anymore. I have tried every link possible. Eventually all roads lead right to the invites exceeded page.

Programmers must be actively plugging the invite holes
 
When I click on the "view or comment on [somebody]' post", it goves me an Error 404 (not found).
Clicking on the red tab "Learn more about Google+" points me toward the Google+ main page.

What I'm a doing wrong?
 
Invite for me paaaaawwwwleeeeeeeaseeee!!! Wanna try this out since Facebook is full of moron people and would love to have people from different places and gamers also!

Yeah, this being possible clearly wasn't intended, since the Welcome page says this:

You're a part of a small group of people who are helping to test Google+. When you share something with people who are not yet able to use Google+, they will receive it via email but won't be able to comment or engage with the content like other Google+ users. They'll be able to join Google+ as we let more users in over time.

Sounds like you're not supposed to be able to invite people through sharing like we've been doing.
 
sorry guys.... seems like the 'circle method' isn't working anymore.... try waiting a couple hours and then signing on again.

also, in the invite email, click on the red button that says "learn more about google+" rather than the "view or comment" link.


i'll still send out a few invites if you PM me your gmail.

There are no "real" invites anymore, they removed the option a while ago. That's why we've been using the sharing method instead.
 
I am not sure if the circle method works periodically, not at all, or if there's a bit of confusion - I still seem to be able to get folk in.

Just to recap if I wasn't clear enough:

1) I send out an invite
2) You get an email - when you click the link in this email, it tells you capacity is exceeded
3) I send a post directly to you saying "Hi this is kurtrussell from neogaf - have fun!"
4) You get an email notification of the post
5) When you click the find out more about google+ link in that notification email, it may or may not let you in!
