I hope they work out how to crack it by the time my copy arrives, I don't know if I could face waiting.

I don't think you could ever access them this early on. You propably have to unlock a bunch of challenges before you can advance to them.

Yes in GT4 I think you needed 25% completion but you could still see the icon to go in so far there has been no sign at all that enduros are even in the game.

I believe they have to hide a lot of stuff under submenus and lock out stuff at the beginning so the player doesn't get completely overwhelmed. GT4's "world map" didn't do this and that's propably why a lot of people didn't like it. There's a fair bit of stuff to do in the game afterall. I'm confident that enduros will be in.

What a joke. You compare those 800 cars to other games out there and they look bad? "Rightfully" is far from true. IMO it's just that people like you are going to compare the 800 standard cars to the 200 premium cars, which shouldn't be the case.

You should compare the 800 standard cars to what you get in other video games, on top of getting 200 premium cars which has the amount of detail you have not seen in any other racer.

that's the point, the standard cars look downright terrible out of date (just check the VW Bora and you will cry)

nearly every other racing game released in the last 5 years (like PGR3 and even forza2) beats the shit out of the standard cars, be it in texture qualtiy, polygons or overall appeal

and if you compare it to what is status quo nowadays in racing games (graphics wise) it's like day and night... be it console or PC

stop defending and denying major shortcomings like it's your own child ffs... some of you are obsessed to the extreme

and I say it again, this game is superb (with premium cars) but the thing with the standard cars will be a major letdown for most people

Sony usually doesn't spare any expenses when it comes to GT launch parties. They have every imaginable celebrity there and expensive cars shipped from all around the world.

Should be interesting to see.

Is it just me or am I seeing thing's.........Everytime I see some new footage it seems a new detail keeps popping up.

Example: Damage. At first it looked like it had been toned down but now i'm seeing some quite impressive stuff.

Same for dirt on rally cars. The SX4 the other day didn't seem to have any. Now on the Taxigamer stream the car get's nice and dirty by the end of one lap.

Just seems weird how these details seem to be being "unlocked"...........

are there any tight twisty kart courses? Not sure I'd want to drive one on a normal racetrack. And there was a collision without consequence early on in that replay - wouldn't you get fucked up bumping wheels like that?

oh, and I wish youtube would fuck off with the NFS Xbox 360 ads on my GT5 vids..
