A lot of what you described isn't that amazing to me. The boats like that were in Mafia 3. People watering their lawn, I'm not sure what to say lol Are we sure this wasn't in GTA V?
Parties on the beach already existed in GTA V, but it will most likely be more fleshed out here.
BUT, given your explanation, you seem to be more impressed with the overall details / events in the world rather than the graphics, which I could understand, I just don't particularly see it in this trailer yet, will have to wait for gameplay.
About social media influencer crap, it's actually a negative for me since I can't stand this in real life already, but there was no way escaping this.

dont judge a book by its cover. honestly, after rdr2, after seeing how they created the best protagonist of all time, i would not doubt rockstar writers. And I am saying this as a hardcore kojima/snake fan who for the last ten years has supported a Joel avatar. Arthur Morgan is that good. and he looked as vanilla as they come.

For real. It's like judging the games graphics 5 years before release too. Let's wait and see more about these characters before we say they suck. One of them has said 1 word. If any studio knows how to make not just interesting main characters, but side characters, it's rockstar. It's not by luck.

MS would have to shell out big bucks to keep this off of PS5, even if only for a few months. And I mean BIG. PS5 will be at 70M+, depending on when it launches, when GTA6 hits, while XBS will be at 35M+. Take into account everything has been selling better since the PS4, as far as series go. As long as this is a good game, and not filled to the brim with woke BS, it could hit 18M-20M sold on the first two days, ~50% of which would be on PS5.
We're talking about ~$700M+ in revenue in just a couple of days of launch. MS would have to spend billion plus to keep it off of PS5 for even a month. Good luck explaining that to shareholders after plopping $70B to buy COD, whose recent iteration just greatly underperformed.

The character level of detail is quite lacking imo, the materials across the board is pretty underwhelming (cars, skin, buildings, etc). Most humans looking very videogamey.
Lighting and density = fantastic
Materials, texture work, polygon levels = decent
But overall it looks good.
I like the idea of playing female character!
I do wonder how much of the activities you see will be interactive. Hope it's not gonna be the cyberpunk intro montage again.
I hope there's an actual casino in this too. Was disappointed that GTAV didn't have that. (Think it got added in gtao)

First GTA IV trailer was 2006, and the first GTA V trailer was 2011, so this fits the pattern of the official reveal being two years prior to release. I will hold out hope for a spring release a la GTA IV, but won't be the least bit surprised if it is ultimately a Fall 2025 release.

I was in Miami earlier this year. One thing I noticed about the place is the number of girls I saw rockin' cameltoe was off-the-chart. Even when outside of the beach.
Game already looks amazingly detailed, but if it were to capture that level of detail, they will truly get a hats-off from me.

Switch and mobile are huge markets yet GTA V is not on those platforms. Adding a technically weak platform that runs at a low wattage just adds a ton of technical and QA overhead whenever R* pushes out a new feature or DLC for the live service element of GTA VI.Depending on what rumors are true, it would be hard to pass on if the system is a success and can handle it just enough lol.

Considering that they are targeting 2025, it means it potentially might not come out that year.
But by and large, it looks quite good. Still, I find it surprising it is not coming to PC. I guess it does not help the online component.

I am keeping my hype in check as this is a super early reveal and may be very different on release day.
As for the content in the trailer; it's clear they are teasing some of the social commentary on modern US culture.
It can be exciting for people looking forward to see how R* approaches this.
But I'm making no conclusions other than Lucia SEEMS like the leader.

Yeah, it's nothing extra. They created the most unappealing trailer ever, but... the masses gonna love it once the consume signal is beamed into their heads, plus they can drive around the city.
The devs are massaging it for a decade. They already have tunnel vision and can't fucking tell where the light is coming from. Should've been out already, but they have too much money and people are wanking on details like, should dis guy wear red or purpe shorts? And I assume this goes on for days...
