Not at all. I definitely hope this movie succeeds so that it can be a proper film franchise. I already know the characters and "world" is amazing from the comics and James Gunn has done an excellent job here judging from the trailers. Plus he has already expressed interest in coming back for another film. So yeah, it all hinges on people actually seeing this one. Very excited.

Most recent standard sci-fi flicks now days are super dark & moody, and GotG looks like fun.

- Comic series is good (The one this is based on).
- Enjoyable cast.
- Very vibrant and colourful.
- Space opera when these have been rare in current Hollywood.
