Happy Birthday PS Vita Sale

Jesus why is Silent Hill book of memories $15 on sale. Should be $15 normal and $5 on sale. Sigh.

Is that the top down perspective one? If so, meh.

aside from terrible translation, is SAO worth the price?

I like the anime, but of course only upto eps 13 or something.

I liked it for what it was. Good enough action RPG. Then again, I like the show way more than most of GAF so that helped as well.

Someone noticed on Twitter that Muramasa and VLR are no longer listed on the sale. And I think they were both already plus games so that kills that theory.

I think they may have sales lists mixed up. Both games were on sale since last Tuesday and will probably end tomorrow morning. None have PS+ discounts, though.

Muramasa Rebirth:
Muramasa Rebirth Complete Collection (game + all add-ons) $17.49
Muramasa Rebirth (game only) $12.49
Genroku Legends Collection (all add-ons) $7.49

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward $12.49

So which games are part of the sale and can be played on the PS TV?

Alteria Rorona or Tales of Heart R? They both seem to be getting a lot of praise right now. If you had to choose just one though, which would it be?

This might be a stupid question, but if I were to get Muramasa Rebirth digitally, can I transfer the save to a cartridge later on? I like to buy physical when I can, but that's a good price for the digital copy. If not, I'll just pick up the physical copy when I can.

You can, but only if you use PS+ cloud save.

I went through the same thought process as you - this is one of only two Vita games I own digitally when there is a physical copy, because physical has never matched this price.

Edit: And just to be sure because of the thread this is in - Muramasa Rebirth is on sale during the current sale, not the one starting tomorrow.

Killzone was excellent, and it gets panned, but i actually enjoyed the campaign for resistance.

Killzone: Get
Resistance: Avoid

I'm a big fan of Resistance on Vita, story is great too.
Haven't gotten Killzone yet.

Killzone Mercenary is one of the best games on the Vita
even better than its console brothers

shameless plug

Killzone Mercenaries - http://67.227.255.239/forum/showthread.php?t=979226

couldn't tell you much about resistance, I tried the demo and liked what I saw :/ but it gets panned here.

That settles is then, I'll be getting both. Thanks all. :)

Cool beans, that'll work for me. I'll eventually have bought this game three times as I already have it on the Wii, will probably pick it up during this sale, then will eventually get the physical cart. Not sure if I want the DLC, though.

It's too bad a lot of you guys missed the Freedom Wars sale at Best Buy back in December.

With GCU it was only about $16 for a physical copy.

Having never played a Tales game ever, will buying Hearts be a good introduction to the series?

Oh, and everybody buy Deception IV, is an awesome feeling to get all your pre-planned traps nail your invaders just right

I ask again:

Has anyone played Home - A Unique Horror Story

???
Played it on the pc. Basically a walking around simulator. It tried to do some stuff with the story but fall well short imo. Not worth it, it was released pretty early on in the indie craze so it had quite a bit of hype but it's nothing special.

Tales of Hearts - almost done with this and it's amazingly fun. The atelier games just don't click with me (finished Totori on PSV last year).

Been interested with EDF for a while and wondering of the Vita version of 2017 was worth jumping on. How comparable is it to the 360 version?

thanks again sony-europe for not doing anything like this.

would so dip in, if ogarrythm and sumioni would be this cheap :(

Kind of want Deception but seems like they're putting out an enhanced version soon. Better to wait, I guess!

What's currently the cheapest place to get a 64GB card? I've asked before but ended up not grabbing one. I need it now.

How is Jet Set Radio for Vita? I heard there were some issues, but I wasn't able to get any more info about them.
An already incredible clunky, dated game(Future though <3) made grueling to play. It took me 20 minutes to finish the tutorial because the trick where you skate backwards is nearly impossible to pull off.

I see nobody answered, so yes, there are no English voices, (text Only) but it still very fun and the skits are entertainign for sure. One of my favorite VITA games for sure..

Ahhhh... that kind of ruins it for me. Not a fan of having to listen to the japanese VAs. Thanks for the heads up man, i'll think about it.

The controls are awful.

What makes the Vita version worse than the console versions?

Be forwarned, much of the Tales series' stories are heavy anime cliche tropes =X

It was updated on Vita months ago. Game controlled OK for me >_>

Would very much like to play the Jak and Daxter games, but the apparent unplayable framerate has me worried.

Yeah FPS leaves so much to be desired in Jak 1 at least. Apparently the FPS is better in later areas, but the first areas FPS is like 20 @_@

Grabbed Killzone Mercenary. Couldn't sit back and ignore when it was only £6.29. Really excited to start playing it soon. I've heard some really good things about it from Gaffers and I enjoy the Killzone series a lot (even Shadow Fall). The Vita is such a joy to play on I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Just got to find time to play.

When is this sale going to start? I checked and the prices haven't dropped yet. I need SAO:HF and Muramasa Rebirth before I head to work!

Such a glorious sale! I'm busy with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate at the moment but it doesn't hurt to stock up on PS Vita games.

Aww man, I was hoping to get VLR today. Might buy it at the current $12 price-point though...

Oh well. I guess I'm getting Rorona plus. It is the first Atelier chronologically, right? Should I consider either New King's Story or Tales of Hearts instead?

Yeah, VLR and Muramasa:Rebirth is no longer on the list. Bummer :(
WHAT! Fuck...the only game i wanted to buy :(
What are you waiting for then? They're been on sale since last week @ 50% off. Refer to LittleToaster's post above for the links.

Dracula X Chronicles is also $14.99 already?

What the fuck?
Relax, this sale hasn't started yet.

$12.49 is the discounted price for VLR. Better grab it quick before it returns back to $24.99.
