Happy Birthday PS Vita Sale

Totally grabbing Deception. That's pretty much the only thing on there I want but don't have yet. Gotta save for Oreshika 2 next week anyway.

Might finally be time to get Spider-Man

Also, as noted by Wario on twitter, VLR is currently on sale this week for 5 bucks more than this new sale price.

It's decent at the price but the game was really borderline average. The textures are really ugly.

The stupid thing about discounts? They cost you money. A lot.

Bought Danganronpa 2 and Persona 4 Golden a couple of hours ago and just added Uncharted - Golden Abyss and Resogun. Guess I know what I'll be doing the next couple of weeks...

Is the first better than the second available here?

So, what exactly does this mean? Is the game really about marketing or something?

Is Hyperdimension Neptunia R1 good ?...I mean the SRPG battles part...the story wont bother me if its bad but I might grab it if the battles are good.

Eh, as much as I'd like to buy a game or two, I'm not quite ready to start juggling games on my memory card. Give me a good deal on a 64 GB card and then I'll start buying more games I'll never play.

All of the Ateliers shall be mine.
I haven't played any of the Arland games, so getting them all in their plus versions for the normal cost of a new game... I can dig it.

It's more complicated than it appears on face value. To be fair... it does also have a lot of cute girls doing cute things.

It's not 'moeblobs' bad, but it does have a very 'slice of life' feel on top of things.

It's a good series, but it's not great. It's a yearly game series so you also can't expect huge improvements with each iteration.

I bought Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles when they had that 10% coupon promotion. That game never went on sale ever until NOW!

Undecided on Tales of Hearts R. Oh Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd is $20??

Anyone know if Tales of Hearts is any good? Definitely the most appealing game in that sale.

I see nobody answered, so yes, there are no English voices, (text Only) but it still very fun and the skits are entertainign for sure. One of my favorite VITA games for sure..

Pretty shitty sales. Been better, Sony slacking.

Tons of anime crap vita games...meh.

You are wrong, I think it went on sale before after like 5 years on PSN and it was cheaper I believe. So dont feel too bad!

Info:

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (715 MB Required) $5.99

10/28/2014 @ 07:24 PM $5.99

More like operation management.
On Atelier game, you're given a limited time to complete a certain goal.
You need to ensure your action (alchemy, material gathering, killing monster) to be as efficient and effective as possible so you can meet the deadline. Failure to met the deadline will give you bad ending.

It is a fun game.

I;m going to get Rorona since i'm about to finish up Meruru (only need to get several boss trophies to plat it) and VLR

Can anyone make a case for Valhalla Knights, Orgarhythm, or Deception?

You should wait for Deception IV: Another Princess. If you can't or don't want to though, Deception is fun.

Some great games here. Tempted by Sword Art Online. I'd be tempted by some of those Atelier games, but Totori Plus is still sitting in my backlog unplayed, so I don't think I can justify them yet.

Umm the combat and gameplay (menus, etc) in Valhalla are so clunky but if you are looking for a crap ARPG its probably worth $6.

I bought it new and played maybe 20 hrs before I got tired of running back and forth to the main castle and dealing with the menus.

All three of these Plus Atelier games are on PS3 well I believe correct? I honestly get all of the Atelier stuff confused at this point.

Also for some reason I thought Dracula X Chronicles didn't work on Vita, vaguely recall seeing people complain about that. Or is that a different Castlevania game?

Anyone? I only have PSTV since I don't really play portables on the go or anything, so if the Plus games are all available on PS3 I'd prefer to get them there.

Probally will just get LIMBO because I still haven't played that and for $3 its pretty good.

Tales of Hearts R I am tempted but I think its been on sale before so I imagine we'll see it again cheaper, and I have no desire to play that right now.

Out of the three games only Rorona Plus has a PS3 version. For the other two only the non-Plus versions are on PS3.

I think the Dracula X Chronicles problem on Vita was only in the EU.

My question: if you only play one Atelier game out of these three, which one?

Looks like I'm going to clear that $100 mark tomorrow after all. Yay for another $15 in credit token that will expire before I activate it from my message box.

Going to pick up the following...
- Atelier Rorona Plus ($15.99)
- Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd ($19.99)
- Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD ($4.99)
- Tales of Hearts R ($19.99)

Anyone want to try and sell me on Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 or Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment-?

Also, anyone dragging their feet on playing Atelier Totori Plus... all I can say is DO IT.
I finally dove into this game last year and fell in love with it. A more charming game you will not find. It sold me on the entire Atelier franchise.

Oh okay, thank you! Digging around a bit, it seems like only Rorona Plus had a physical release on Vita, the other two were only release in the US digital only (and Ayesha Plus apparently just came out).

I understand why they don't, but I wish they sold one month PS+ subs. We don't have a subscription, but the PS+ prices are so good on these, turns them from being on the fence into must buys. Hmm.

Can anyone confirm that if you use a free trial of plus you still get the plus prices? Also, if you buy a game with the plus price am I correct in assuming nothing will change once your plus subscription ends?

Is Sword Art any good, Im not sure I want to invest all those GB without being sure about it.

I bring this up in every thread where SAO comes up: it's garbage. The translation is laughable, nothing is explained, and even when you do have an understanding the combat just doesn't work. Well, it "works", but it isn't enjoyable and is easy to exploit.

Some people really like it. I'm not one of them.
