Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
Just bought RE7, but I also have Amnesia Collection(played the first game on PC years ago, never tried the sequel/DLC).

Also been itching to nab the platinum in Until Dawn.

Slowly crouching through Evil Within 2 right now. Really enjoying it, too. Also watching the girlfriend play through Costume Quest 2 this year.

The Evil Within 2 babyyyyy!

Still slooooowly working through Chapter 3.
Chapter 3 is legit tho :D it's kind of long but man I loved every second of my 8 hours that it took to get through that chapter.

Nightmare difficulty is no joke :O

Also TeW 2 is the best survival horror game since dead space 👍

The Evil Within 2. Currently on chapter 6. Really digging it so far. The gameplay kind of reminds me of Silent Hill: Downpour, except less buggy and actually good.

Working on Alan Wake on PC. Owned it forever and never bothered. I know a lot of people really enjoy this game... but I don't get it. The story is fine but the gameplay and enemies are a snooze.

1. Shadow person appears in obvious spot.
2. Shine light on him.
3. Shoot him.
4. Repeat

Hard to believe that is the game.

I also attempted to play this for the first time lately.
I'm about half way through and can't motivate myself to continue.
It is really some of the most shallow and repetitive "gameplay" I've experienced.

RE7 in VR. Game's been in the backlog for a while, what can I say it's 2017, and it seems like a good time to play through it.

This is the scariest game ever tho by far by far. It was so scary that it was to much to play a lot of the time exspecialky high as hell

Been thinking about going through Alien: Isolation again. The attention to detail, level of authenticity and dedication to building atmosphere and tension makes that game absolutely superb. Highly recommend it to anybody even remotely interested in Sci-fi, Horror or a fan of the Alien franchise.

Pro tip - play late at night with headphones!

Already beat Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water a couple of days ago. I liked it. A solid 8/10 for the most part, but the Last Drop (or the final chapter), and the grind for all the endings brought it down to a 7.4 or something.

Right now I'm unsure if I should also play Project Zero 2: Wii Edition, which I have a 40% discount for, or continue playing Resident Evil Zero, which I started a few months back, but put on hold very early (end of the train section, I think). Those two might even end up both getting stuck in the backlog for a little longer, because I'm also back on trying to finish Shovel Knight with all the DLC, and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.

It was a massive disappointment for me at the time considering Remedy's pedigree and what the original designs for the game were like. Alan Wake is still nice, though, as a sort of light TV adventure.

FYI, The Evil Within 2 feels a lot more like what Alan Wake should have been and was originally meant to be (a dread-full and intense open world mystery/adventure with lots of stealth, survival and intense-but-tightly-scripted combat).

Everyone should be playing The Evil Within 2, it's a modern day horror classic already. It's that good!

I tried to play Zombi U but it was boring compared to RE7.

Tried Until Dawn, but quit at the Ouija board. I can tolerate a lot of things, but I draw the line there.

I wanted to start Dead Space 2, but I'm scared, lol. I also want to start Alien Isolation.

Short and sweet. You can do them both in a day. And it’s totally worth it. I personally think the first is far superior, though.
Like 5-6 hours each.

I’m at 7.5 hours on CQ2 and don’t think I’m near the end yet. Actually I should go back to it, felt weird playing It after Halloween last year so gave up.
I would’ve rather payed CQ1 but it never ever goes on sale.

Don't usually have time to replay horror stuff for Halloween but from my backlog I should be getting around to [Wii]Escape From Bug Island and [PS4]Murdered: Soul Suspect if that counts.

If I manage to finish enough PS4 stuff I might be able to open up enough storage space to give The Evil Within another shot.

Got mates coming around for Halloween so currently have

Hidden agenda on preorder

Going to get Alien Isolation

Have until dawn but we played that last year

Since its release, I've made it a tradition to replay the first boss in LM: Dark Moon every October lol

Been waiting to beat Alien: Isolation for a while now, & I think I’m ready to take it on. Just bought a new pair of Hanes as well.

Sorry to be a hog but it is my favorite gaming month. o many great Halloween themed games to play.:

Every year I have to play through this with my kids. Perfect Halloween game. Second one too.

The original and best of the series. Love this game since I had it on C64.

Evil Within 2---probably one of my favorite survival horror games in the past few years. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good action/horror RE4 style romp.

Every Saturday I have a group get together to watch a horror film, followed by a couple of hours of Until Dawn. It's the first time for us all, we take turns with the controller, and the whole group votes on choices (or panic shouts in timed bits).

It's amazing.

So far I've tackled Stories Untold, Trick & Treat (free rpgmaker game), Doki Doki Literature Club, and a series of free vns called Boyfriend to Death (pretty squicky horrorporn).

I've got The Count Lucanor lined up, and may replay Costume Quest 1 (and get 2 eventually).

Was supposed to be The Evil Within 2 but the PC port is shit I had to uninstall. Hopefully it's patched/fixed before Oct ends.

Oh, yea, DOOM. Playing it almost everyday now. But I don't see it as a horror game.

Currently playing:
- The Evil Within 2 (loving it so far)
- Alien: Isolation (also damn good)
- Overwatch's Halloween-themed event
- Doom 2016 (my second playthrough of the campaign, and playing a lot of mp too)
- Warhammer: Vermintide (I think this counts!)

Finished in October:
- Conarium
- Stories Untold
- Inside (my 4th playthrough, still as brilliant as ever)

The wife and I played through Costume Quest 2 again this year. We usually alternate between it and the first. We got our final achievement which was Hardcorn Mode earned by keeping candy corn in your party for every fight!

Going to try and get through Resident Evil 4 this month. I've gotten a good ways through it before, I've just never finished it. Was going to wait for the HD fan-patch, but it probably won't be done for a good while. Which is fine, I'll just revisit it down the road. Also wanted to finish Dead Space, but I started my Halloween bucket list a bit too late. Hopefully I can cram it in my schedule before the month is over.
