I can't believe the thing sold almost as much as it did in March. It's gettting close to selling 200k a week.

GTA selling millions will not surprise anyone. Neither Will PS3 selling more than 360.
The real Shocker will be either Wii > 1 Million, or 360 and PS3 comibined > 1Million. or software side, MKWii > GTA360 > GTA PS3.
 
I'm afraid we're going to lose some people tonight.

I said this last month, and I think four people were banned in the NPD thread.
 
i can't see wii sales of 1m. i'll admit tho i'd be more impressed than "shocked" as wii sells whatever is on the shelves. that's why i don't think this is part of this suprise.

Of course Smash plummeted. It had three or four weeks' worth of sales in March, remember? Weird about GTA though, I thought it did more? Or did the 360 version outsell the PS3 version by a bigger margin than I thought?

And if the Gamestop percentages (64% on 360, 36% on PS3) hold for the rest of the market this means Mario Kart did 36% or better of total GTA4 sales.

Whoops, sorry. It just occured to me that SSBB launched March 9th. I thought it launched in the last week of the last NPD for some reason. Nevermind.

Wii sold 714k. It was in the press release. It's about 7k less from what they did in March, but the weekly average increased.

That´s right, SSBM has ~ 3.900.000 units LTD in the US, Brawl has after two months > 3.000.000
 
Hmm...its possible depending on 360 numbers that Wii could overtake 360 after May, if Nintendo ships a shit ton of units for Wii Fit. It's guaranteed for June, though.

You are too late for predicitions and you are way out as Pachter has stated that Ps3 will beat 360 because GTA is a playstion Franchise and that Playstion loyalty kicked in from its launch, i'd say have another go if it wasn't already too late!
 
With Wii Fit coming next Monday, has Nintendo suggested recently that they have upped production?

PS3 beating 360 and a Pachter vindication would completely decimate the landscape.

Their goal for the FY is to ship 25m Wiis, so production's over 2 million a month now.

Depends what the MS LTD is after this month. It might be June when it happens if they keep doing 700k a month.

It might, depending on the 360 numbers and how many Wii's they put out for Wii Fit.
 
meh. ps360 sucked and mk did better than i thought. shit next gen month as usual. wtf. gta moved nothing. ps3 sales wtf! oh wait those were just someones predictions wtf. mk still did suprisingly well. next gen am cry. ps360 til 2015 confirmed.
