Not yet. So far this gen has just been a "last gen perfected" in terms of 1080p/60fps. yeah theres a graphic bump but its only as much as like taking a pc game and going from medium to high settings
Ryse wasn't the first Xbox One game that I played, so when I did, it made it patently clear that, yes, this is next gen. FH2 impressed me the most, however.
AC Unity (pc), Driveclub, Ryse (pc) from a graphical standpoint. Dragon Age feels next gen to me as an overall package and the world just seems so huge.
Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor is one of the first gameplay features that are for all intents and purposes next-gen only (the PS360 version of the system is severely limited). Other than that most seem to be mostly graphical upgrades.
It's the sheer scope and graphical fidelity of Dragon Age: Inquisition for me. I play it on a 26" 1080p monitor at about 4' distance, and the game still looks fantastic, with the capability of next-gen really making the art direction stand out.
Add to that the immense scope of the game world and the complexity/depth of most/all features in the game, and it's truly a next-gen winner for me. I love this game.

Curious as to what the differences are between the nemesis system in the PS360 version of Shadow of Mordor, assumed there wouldn't be any differences in the system itself.
Zombi U was the first. The gamepad made it feel like nothing else in certain ways, and it wasn't really possible or likely to happen before hand, so that's my vote. Haven't been floored by anything graphically, but Second Son seems to look nice at a multitude of angles.
Not a particular game, but game DVR. It's great how I can actually show people how hard of a fluke that GW3 score was, and how effortless it is since I don't need to worry about starting recording.
Even then on PC, you still needed separate dedicated software and equipment up until recently (features such as Nvidia's Shadowplay). It's great to just have it as an out-of-the-box function with little hassle.
Seriously though, it's because of this. For the first time ever, you can have a literal window of a world which you can peer into, from any angle, in full sphere of video game reality; this is true immersion for me. Fuck VR, this is the future.
Wait, really? You'd rather peer through a small window at the end of your arms that removes your depth perception, than put your perspective directly into a virtual reality?
Jaw also dropped when I saw this for the first time on my ps4.
And that's only half of the npcs in that scene, you turn the camera and it just keeps going, and you walk through that shit. Like what?? Last gen consoles would melt with that many npcs on screen. That combined with the ridiculous amount of buildings that have detailed interiors, much bigger scale, ridiculously good looking hair rendering, cloth physics, and facial animation,
and next gen kissing that doesn't look awkward
finally made me feel like I was playing something that couldn't be done on last gen without being massively toned down. Also holy shit at the difference between the ps4/ps3 version of COD:AW. :O
Has this gotten better? I had an XBO around January of this year, and it was a running joke between my girlfriend and I that getting to to turn on was an exercise in voice acoustics/intonation. I had to ask the damn thing to turn on at least 4-5 different times in different tones to get it to finally turn on. Really rained on my parade when I was headed to the couch with a plate full of dinner and wanted to just seamlessly say "XBOX turn on" and finish sitting down while my system boots for a nice food and Netflix session.
DA:I truly has impressive graphics on a technical level, but it's the coupling of technically impressive and excellent art direction/an interesting world that really does it for me. Truly is the perfect RPG setting, visual, and feel IMO.
Can't stop, won't stop. If this isn't Next-Gen, I don't want Next-Gen.
More seriously? inFamous Second Son is damned pretty. DA:I made me say, "This is a few gens too late! AND I LOVE IT." The most I've enjoyed an RPG since Kotor and Baulder's Gate.

Honestly, for me just the fact that there aren't any jaggies, blocky shadows, low-res explosions and other shit like that was everywhere on ps360 is a good enough leap for me. I can't think of any game that looked ugly to me on this new gen, on last-gen even the best of the best had rough spots and issues mentioned above.
I always said XBOX On. All the voice commands in the UI worked most of the time, it was just turning on that seemed to be a struggle. I will have one again soon enough once more exclusives I care about start being revealed for it, I'd imagine they have continued to improve on the voice functionality (although truthfully I am far more likely to get one w/o Kinect).

I'm in the preview dash thing and every now and then an update fucks with the voice recognition but yeah, it works great for me for 90%* of voice commands as long as I say them clearly. You don't need to say them slowly, just as long as you are clear.** I know some people who are still having problems but I'm happy with it and use voice commands all the time, especially handy given that I've gone all digital so far.
*"Xbox on" is the most fiddly one by far, often requiring me to say it a couple of times before it is recognised
**Assuming that it is both calibrated correctly and you don't talk like Rab C. Nesbitt.
Ironically it's probably a last gen game for me. That game is GTA V. I enjoyed it on 360 but it feels like an entirely different game now that I'm playing it in first person, the scale, the detail and immersion are second to none. I eagerly await Rockstar's first true Next Gen game because if they could do this with a remaster I'm expecting to be completely blown away when it releases.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't have trouble with most other voice commands either, it was just turning it on that seemed fiddly. Navigating the menu and such was a breeze.

I have say that looks great!. I won't play a AC game because they are too messy and bloated. But that looks great. Hair is floating on top of the head weirdly on some cutscene videos, but you sure thats PS4?
I hope The Order cures my historical action game itch better than AC game ever has.

The best looking game i have played on my ps4 is still infamous second son,the game just looks so sharp and clean.I haven't played driveclub yet so i can't judge it,but from the screenshots that is the best looking game other than infamous i have seen so far.
Just what gameplay features do you expect, that couldn't be done Last gen, without lowering res, or graphics? I just always wonder what people mean, when they say nextgen gameplay.
I haven't been really blown away from a visual standpoint. Games look better, but I'm not phased. From a gameplay perspective, ZombiU felt more next-gen than anything else I've played by virtue of it having unique play mechanics that were simply not seen last gen.
Visually speaking, a game like Assassin's Creed strikes me as something that is head-and-shoulders above last gen.
