Starting an arena 6-1 and then losing two in a row so you don't get all your money back sucks.

I thought that was changed after the patch, no? I haven't played an arena since the patch so not 100% sure.

I got a Black Knight in my second pack after wipe. First game I played with it I top decked it against a Druid who just played an Ironbark Protector and won.

In fairness, I only spent the lowest amount as I wanted the beta gold card.

Sounds like they started sending them out about 45 minutes ago. If you don't get one initially, don't worry. Companies tend to spread these kind of emails out over a couple hours. Otherwise they will be flagged as spam.

The amount of people getting into the beta compared to how many have applied for the beta is minimal. The opt-in has been available for over half a year and most people who applied for the beta on day 1 are still waiting for an invite.

At this rate open beta is what most people are waiting for.

Currently trying to unlock all 9 classes in ranked without opening boosters, so just using my basic cards. Currently at 2 star gold, have lost 3 and won a bunch, still haven't seen a rogue or hunter but I have the other 7 unlocked.

I laughed my ass off when a rogue used deadly poison on his hero weapon, and used the hero ability, only to see it go to a 1/1 again

You saw the "red marker" glued on the weapon for 10 seconds, with him trying to figure out what the hell just happened

and 3 rounds later he did it again

I guess they weren't kidding about the increased frequency. This is essentially how DOTA 2 started, small, frequent waves so the servers don't get destroyed.

I guess that is true. The stream I was just watching, guy got 250+ gold from 8 wins.

You basically just earned the gold for 6/7 wins.

Doing the starting 'quest' thingy. I love how it warns you that Illidan is a cheater.

So far, it's a version of Magic! Which is...interesting. I guess I'll see how the pvp is eventually.

Well, I got terrible luck with boosters after the reset. 2 epic, 17 rare compared to 2 legendary, 4 epics, 15 rare. Sad.
