Got both, TYVM

Hey man, buying a console for one game is straight up undercore.Who said anything about not being able to afford it? It's called being smart with your money. Spending $300 for one game that you enjoy isn't being smart.
all of the DLC in both games focused entirely on the multiplayer modes and had no bearing on the single player. So no, they're not "DLC heavy".
I would rather buy no console.
The Dualshock is the default controller for action games. Nothing else comes close.
Damn, this thread...Nintendo still stealing our games, I see.
Can't wait for the 28th, myself!
So publishers care about reviews and not sales now? Uhh OK.
Have you even tried the GamePad or Pro Contoller? My hope for this game is that it will eventually appear on the next nintendo console that actually has a proper controller and not a cheap gimmick or some plan b controller with uncomfortable stick placement. For the time being I scratch my Bayonetta itch by replaying the game on the ps3. I have a lackluster framerate but at least I get to play the game with the dualshock.

I absolutely don't understand this...Hideki Kamiya may make great games but I haven't been as impressed with how he leads that company. He halfway builds a game with a niche following and then fails to find a partner. That's on him. When Nintendo threw him a bone he took it of course, but the move doomed the work of his team to poor sales. Instead the hard work will go mostly unnoticed and his companies position is by no means improved despite the heavy effort.
Platinium should simply be doing better. Given the quality of their games they actually deserve better.

The Pro controller is so much better than the DS3, it´s not even funny.
That's reasonable enough, no doubt. I'm moreso reacting to the general...reaction that apparently is resulting in Kamiya and Platinum still being asked to/feeling the need to continue explaining why 1+1=2.My impression is that most people in this thread saying they won't buy a console to get it aren't saying this. I certainly don't blame Nintendo or Platinum for anything. I thought the complaints were pathetic from the start. There are very few posts here that sound close to the morons on twitter.
At the right value proposition for me I may end up with a Wii U and this game. Right now that doesn't exist. I also don't own a PS4 or Xbox yet because they haven't justified themselves with enough titles I want either.
I thought we were getting it on the 26th?

You should give the pro controller a shot. It is VERY good.
Got both, TYVM
Got both...plus two extra copies of Xenoblade (1 PAL when it came out there and a sealed US one...just in case I may need money one of these days.)![]()

Fair enough. I agree its pathetic this needs to be explained at all at this pointThat's reasonable enough, no doubt. I'm moreso reacting to the general...reaction that apparently is resulting in Kamiya and Platinum still being asked to/feeling the need to continue explaining why 1+1=2.
ive been using it for hyrule warriors, and its not bad, better than the 360 and Ones controllers, but the whole time im holding it i have a permanent feeling that both analog sticks are in the wrong spot. My thumbs just hate using analog sticks in the upper positionsYou should give the pro controller a shot. It is VERY good.

What is there to understand?
How can you be angry that a game exists?
The Pro controller is so much better than the DS3, it´s not even funny.
Except you know... Kamiya is not running the company.

Don't stop ... believin' ...
That's sarcasm, BTW, and the first time I've heard that one.
He's a principle in the company, seems to have a say in what gets developed, and uses 'we' when describing all the dealings with publishers and contracts, which indicates a level of responsibility. He's also the voice of the company, everything he says is implicitly supported by the other executives.
Who in their right mind would talk so personally about the project and the companies doings and yet have no responsibility for those choices? That's just silly thinking.

I understand, but I don't think Kamiya understands the anger of people not wanting to budge on a new system for the sequel. It isn't just because it's on WiiU and they want P4/X1 versions arbitrarily; the latter is a longer term investment, the other is not for those who don't care for Nintendo's IPs.
all this for the for blurry near death hope of a Platinum games exclusive on PS4....
A console is never an investment.
Many gamers have turned it down too. Funny how that works
What? The demo for the original was so cringeworthy. I haven't felt shame like that while playing a game in forever. I'm still shocked that Nintendo of all companies picked up the sequel.
Say that again when the main design of the controller is unchanged after 15 years.
Platinum Fanfiction.
I'm starting to think this can't be put on Platinum anymore, look at what Westerners typically find appealing in their games and look at what Platinum puts in their games. They aren't making fantasy open world RPGs or homogenized third and first person shooters/action games.
Whatever the hell that means.Bloodborne, Destiny and Watch Dogs were better investments for Sony. Doesn't seem like a Xbox exclusive.
I don't get why any gamer would want exclusivity. Is it supposed to make us feel better about ourselves? I love my Wii U to bits, but it's not like I'm sitting here thinking "Gee, it sure is good that Bayonetta 2 isn't on those other consoles!"
There's too much "fuck you, got mine" mentality in the gaming community if you ask me.
This.
The best GIF.
