Yeah, they got a little back-ordered this week... I sent them an email and they said that they are shipping out all of the marketplace cards for everyone who has signed up so far this weekend when their next shipment from the distributer comes in.

i wonder how many more suckers like me they got.

Good to hear. I got the email that the card would ship soon, but nothing has arrived for me, either. Hope I get it before my trial runs out in Nov.

That too bad. Right after I signed up, I set up my email to notify me right before a week would be up, since I tend to forget stuff like that too.

It would be nice if xbox360achiever sent a reminder email after 5 days to cancel your true.com membership... but that would probally really piss true.com off :p

I haven't gotten mine yet, either. At least I cancelled--if it arrives within the next few weeks it'll be a nice little ruprise but it looks like all this was, was a lesson to learn.

Ohh yeah. It's really nice to get subscriptions to magazines and things too. Still loving the Game Informer free subscription I've got that extends to 2010.

I just got my card today too.

And I totally scammed out True.com - my card ACTS as a credit card, but if I have no moneies on it, they just have to cancel the account after the trial period. WOOT.

Sweet. I finally received shipping confirmation today. They must've just received a batch of cards. It was pretty easy and hassle free...

I think I'll wait until I actually receive my card before I cancel, though. I have the time, since they extended my trial membership until Nov. 1st.

This'll cover Lumines Live + the Advanced Pack and only cost me 200 points. :)

are you sure they extended your trial membership? because mine runs out on november 3rd and that was after they charged my CC.

You're probably wrong. Your bank will make your account go negative. (Unless it's a gift card)

Edit: Also, they can send your information to collections, damaging your credit. They will get their money. Just cancel.

Nope, credit's fine, bank account's fine, True.com sent me an email "cannot charge to your credit card, automatically ending account UNLESS you click here to add new card blahblahalh" I WIN :)

i got my card today to and UMK3 is looking mighty tempting and so is lumines, i'll probably end up with both. i never played lumines on psp but i like the demo A LOT.

edit: I WANNA SAY THANKS TO THE OP, EVEN THOUGH I ****ED UP I STILL APPRECIATE THE POST. THANKS MAN

Argh. Such a pain in the butt. I just called to cancel and got off the phone less than 5 minutes ago. I told her I wanted to cancel because I'm switching jobs and need the money to move anyways. Shes all oh I'll give you another free month! I said nah, I won't have the money to continue after the free time.. She goes are you saying you're canceling free time, only crazy people would do that. I couldn't hold it in and said I just wanna close my ****ing account I got my free item for signing up with you and I'm done. She just went ..last 4 numbers on the cc you used? I gave em.. She goes your account is closed, thank you for calling and hangs up on me. :)

Btw, she had the voice of those sex ad girls on late night tv. o.0

When you guys cancelled the true account did they send you a cancelation notice email? I never got anything saying it was canceled and I'm still getting some spam from em.

When I cancelled and she tried to extend the free month, I said "I'm actually not single and I only joined to piss off and punish my boyfriend and to make him jealous. It worked and I got even so I don't need the service anymore." She started cracking up and didn't try any sales pitches from then on out.

Still haven't gotten my card though :/

Nope, and I keep getting emails too. I logged into my true.com account and checked my subscription status and it shows that I cancelled.
