*People complaining about breaking flame swords two minutes after they find them*
*Me running around with the same 9 elemental weapons for 6 hours and only using them when I need to one shot elemental baddies or to affect things with that element feeling like I'm on a mega adventure where the tools I've found really matter to me and even if they did break I go back to where I've marked one is and defeat the enemy again and get it or pick it up*
I imagine people hitting ore formations and trees with their best weapons/elemental weapons instead of using an axe/hammer too, brilliant. I hope weapon breaking is still in the new one, just that they last a little bit longer, can be made to last 10x as long through some sort of method and can be repaired generally. The former and latter being the most important things.
Look, I get it, if you aren't doing any challenges/collectibles or exploring for secrets and going relatively fast through the games main content in each region you maybe won't be fully stocked or have extra space to carry more weapons like I did, I think this game is just 10x better when you do those things though, which is unfortunate for this type of player.
You're choosing to not explore and get stocked up or have an advantage from getting the carry capacity upgrades, you're making it harder for yourself so you should be more careful with powerful weapons and use them sparingly, for utility or only when it confers a mega bonus damage like with opposite elements, eg one shotting Wizzrobes or Lizalfos.
