Help!!

I can't figure out what's going on with my computer. I can not watch any video clips (wmv etc). Anytime I try to use winamp the file title loads into the player and the video screen will pop up for a milisecond and then disappear again. Any attempt to hit the play button causes the same result. If I choose to use windows media player video will show a visualization and will have the sound from the clip, but I can not make it show the actual video footage that the clip contains.

Does anyone know how to help me?

Nice try. Even I know that Media Player Classic is freakin evil.

I am currently using Winamp and WMP. I have no trouble with Quicktime movies at all though. Just the WMV clips.
