Iced coffee or hot coffee?

Fuck y'all, this is the best thing in the summer:

I drink hot coffee more often, myself, because I live in a Nordic country :p but in the summer I love iced coffee and even more the Timmy's ice capp. <3

I remember about ten years ago I was traveling with a friend cross country from Maine to California. It was August.

My friend and I were in Kansas. Pretty sure we stopped in Topeka. Went into this coffee place and asked for an iced coffee. Guy at the counter looked at me like I had two heads. Asked for clarification. I said an iced coffee, but this time with less confidence due to his confusion.

He says, "You want ice in your coffee?" Gesturing towards the ice machine and a pot of hot coffee. At that point I just resigned to a small cup of hot coffee, but I left bewildered.

I wasn't sure if iced coffee simply did not exist in Kansas, or if I went to some oddball coffee place, but it was hot out, and now my coffee was also hot.

Ya'll have Timmy's?

I also prefer iced in the summer and hot in the winter.

Hot every morning. I don't really have a place to stop on my way to work that offers iced.

I've tried making one at home but just didn't taste right.

They're both great, but if it's summer, I'm likely to get it iced as pouring hot liquid into my already hot body is just uncomfortable. The downside of iced, though, is you can down it in 2 seconds flat.

Depends, how is the weather outside?

Usually I drink hot brewed in the am, then have an Iced in the afternoon.

In the Summer, I make hot coffee with french press in the morning. I use around half of it, then the other half I cool down and turn into 'iced coffee' later that afternoon.

Iced Coffee and it's not even close. Hot coffee makes me feel kind of sick and I'm not sure why.

I order that shit in the dead of winter. The looks I get when I buy an iced coffee in 10 below zero weather.

Both are great. I usually drink 6 cups of hot a day vs the occasional iced though. At work I now drink iced to keep from overheating.

Hot coffee. Drinking it right now. I drink it black. When I think of iced coffee I think of all those other coffee drinks with whipped cream, syrup and 60 grams of sugar.

I wasn't always a big coffee drinker until a friend sold me and my wife his Keurig he barely used. After that I went from drinking like one cup a week to like 3 cups a day.

I've since greatly dialed that back, but I love just about all kinds of coffee now. I think I prefer coffees on the colder side of the spectrum like iced coffee or blasted frappes, but depending on how I'm feeling sometimes I prefer a nice hot cup of coffee.

So, in short, I prefer iced coffee but could never do without all forms of coffee.
