When I saw Halo, I immediately thought well Reach was very good... oh wait 4. Tomb Raider being higher than Uncharted 3 baffles me.

Burnout Paradise at 37?! Getthefuckouttahere. A mediocre game that contributed so many unnecessary changes and poor design choices to the formula and essentially killed the once-glorious franchise in the process. I don't know why people rate that game, I really don't. I'm sitting here waiting for my proper successor to Revenge and IT'S NEVER GOING TO FUCKING HAPPEN!

All 3 Mass Effects potentially are going to be in the top 20. Yea, ME2 is going to rank really highly, possibly top 3.
So Gears 1+2, Uncharted 1+2, Mass Effect 1-3, Fallout 3, Skyrim, SMG 1+2, Bioshock, GTA V, TLOU, Valkyria Chronicles(?), Journey, Dead Space 2, Call of Duty 4, Infamous(?), RDR, Portal 2, Arkham City.
So Gears 1+2, Uncharted 1+2, Mass Effect 1-3, Fallout 3, Skyrim, SMG 1+2, Bioshock, GTA V, TLOU, Valkyria Chronicles(?), Journey, Dead Space 2, Call of Duty 4, Infamous(?), RDR, Portal 2, Arkham City.
With the way things have been going, they might not even be listed at all.

ME2 is definitely going to be listed. I'd even they'll give it a top 5 position. I'm not counting on ME1 and 3 to be in the top 20, though.
They're going to be listed. At least 2 will be. I can see 3 might not making the cut but that wouldn't be surprising.

Lol I can't believe some people hate change so much. Halo 4 was amazing.
I've never, ever worked at a website, including IGN, that has ever even considered intentionally sabotaging a top-list to court controversy/pageviews.
It's such a silly accusation. Why do so many people envision a scenario where the Editors all rub their hands together and say "yes... yessss... we'll put Halo 4 above Halo 3 and THEN we'll be rolling in the pageviews!" instead of living in a real world where it went more like this: "Who likes Halo 4 more? 6 of you? Who likes Halo 3 more? Only 3 of you? Okay, let's open it up to debate to determine rough rankings and then move on to the next game."
Meanwhile no one is listening to me in the corner saying that Reach is my personal favorite. Opinions, right? What are ya gonna do.

Dishonored is a top ten game of the gen, that's my main problem with this list at the moment!

Honestly as much as it's entertaining to read a top 100 list, it's pretty much impossible to make a good and accurate list. Every game above the number 20 spot is essentially the same rating. How anyone could objectively compare something like Ni No Kuni and bad company 2 and say one is much better then the other is just absurd due to how different and varied the majority of these games are to one another.
IGN should of just made a top ten 20 best games of this gen, or go more depth and do a 'top 10 games of *enter genre here' for each main genre
But that's just my two cents
