After following for some time the Indie thread I can finally show my new videogame!
Detective Case and Clown Bot in: Murder in the Hotel Lisbon
I am trying to make all screenshots as animated GIFs.
I've been kinda wondering that, myself. Thread isn't the same without Toma.
Only 30 achievement to go, and we get him back. Hopefully.
He got sucked up.

Wow, has Toma abandoned us? Without his guidance, Wayback Wednesday was forgotten. lol
Is EU4 really that addictive? Anyway, seems like I'm the top poster here now, time to stage a coup
I totally forgot that yesterday was Wayback Wednesday.

Described as "the Unholy merging of Super Meat Boy & Super Hexagon!" , Electronic Super Joy is a brutally hard platformer set in a world of pulse-pounding electronic music. Run, jump, smash & fly your way through 45+ weird & different levels, with low-gravity, world rotation, giant monsters & swarming missiles.
This looks fantastic! Great job!
It looks like it's gonna be filled with charm and great humour. All those Iberian games are kicking ass lately.
Wow, that looks fantastic. Can't wait to play it. Definitely getting a Sam & Max vibe which is awesome.
Well, the graphics have sure caught my eye. Looks great so far.

Design:
I was inspired by the classic point and click adventures from the 80s and 90s. It adopts these eras characteristically design and it is built using only the pixel art technique.
It has a base resolution of 256x192 but it wil run full screen and will adapt according to size. All backgrounds have a minimum of 512px wide so if the screen is wider it will always be ok.
Lot's of crazy pixel art work at very low resolutions can get your eyes strained but the final look is worth it.
Mechanics:
It's a classical point and click adventure.
Talk to NCPs, gather clues, solve cases.
I added a new game mechanic to the equation where you can interview people showing them items and asking the right questions.
You can also fast travel and do stupid things (more on this later)
Main quest and sidequests available.
I am trying to make all screenshots as animated GIFs.
We will first launch for Windows, Mac and Linux and think about more later.
We have a good friend that created a more official thread here on gaf with more info so wait for that or just hop on to our website
We are a 2 man team working together at the Lisbon Studio in Lisbon, Portugal, with 3 more people doing music, art, and production that are not here on a day to day basis with us. We are using Game Maker: Studio from Yoyo games and we will self-publish digitally on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Cool poster!
P.S. yes, I am no longer at Seed Studios.
Gamescom is almost over for us, we'll still present our rogue-like tower defense to a couple of journalists this morning! We wanted to share with all of you the answer to the question everybody is looking for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plc7sigDcQc
Is EU4 really that addictive?
Anyone try Electronic Super Joy yet?
Sup guys, what do you think of this game?

My friend and eternal lurker sent it to me, and I really like the idea of binaural sound for a horror game. It also looks incredible.
Hmm. Not much to show so far, but the premise is engaging. Lovecraft in a modern-day setting? I can throw in some money, maybe.
Grow your zen garden.

Going to put this here for a bit
Since I started a youtube channel who does Indie Impressions daily, I started to notice how many great games were out there that hardly got any marketing or just couldn't be found because of all the big games that craved for attention. As a small youtuber I couldn't do much, but somehow I want to change this and I am about to expand to a full fledged website called www.Indiespotted.com
This website will be devoted towards the indie games. At the start it will mainly be computer and Ouya based indies, yet I will be expanding in due time. With my website I wish to support all of you to get the word about your game out there. Weither you are a new developer company or you are all alone in your project. Each and everyone of you work hard and deserve to be known.
How will my website help all of you? My video impressions will be on the website, together with articles that you may provide me about your game. I will also do specials towards interesting looking concepts, crowdfunding campaigns and I will give developers to put their crowdfunding campaign on the website either by article or the actual Kickstarter/IndieGoGo widget.
I will be sharing more information soon, as of now feel free to follow me @Indiespotted, where I will update anything regarding the website.
If you guys think this concept is interesting, feel free to share your ideas with me. Or if you couldn't care less, feel free to ignore this or just tell me that it is not suitable here and I will remain quiet then
Explore a unique RPG/metroidvania adventure based on the content of your computer.
AdventureOS is an 2.5D RPG/Metroidvania adventure based game that is entirely auto-generated by the content (folders and files) of your computer. Each room, object, enemy, puzzle, key, treasure, boss... Is actually an interpretation of the files you can find on the computer where the game is running, making each adventure as exciting as exclusive for each user.

Had a think, and I remember last month it was a wide problem that some users just didn’t quite have enough time to run through many of the games on the OP. So to (hopefully) help I’ve made this list of the OP games categorised in ‘impact levels’ being the amount of time I would consider that they may take to play. Of course many of them can be played for longer (if you enjoy them), this is more of a rating of how long it takes the player to see and learn all the tricks in play rather than master and fully complete the experience. All the games listed are free.

- Betrayer?
- Electronic Super Joy and Legend of Dungeon?
- Back Ghost Song on Kickstarter ($15)?
Harold Halibut is a stop motion point&click adventure set in an underwater world full of amusing characters, strange creatures and fantastical locations.
Everything is hand-crafted from wood, clay and anything we can get our hands on, really.
Looks pretty neat. I remember there was a SHMUP that did the same thing. Except that it deleted the files you destroy. This game looks promising.

Well...fuck...so many good choices and I don't want to spend all that $$ at onceDo not forget Shelter next week.

I'm kind of leaning towards Ghost Song, because not only does it look awesome, but it's made by a GAFfer. Would be first KS backing
Most bang for my buck would be Legend of Dungeon and Shelter/Electronic Super Joy
SYABH just looks awesome but is the most expensive. Betrayer would probably by my final choice.
But they're all good choices
Probably going to get that on XBLA later.Ahaha, and what about Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons? This one will released next week too.

Wanted to thank the members and Toma (whenever he returns), my passion for indie games has only been enhanced by the wonderful recommendations here, so much so that I decided to start a blog dedicated to indie and overlooked/under-the-radar games on PC, console, and IOS
