This was weird because it was just sitting there, not plugged in on my bed and I reached over to grab it and plug it in and the bottom was scorching hot and it puffed up.jeeeez. do we if there's anything in particular that causes the battery to expand like that, or is it just poor luck? I've seen a couple cases of it.
I've seen a few new ones that had this issue from recent batches but I feel we'll probably be seeing some more people who've owned it ever since it came out and been using it every single day.
Most batteries in electronics are separated from heat to some degree but the Win's battery just sits against the motherboard and absorbs and soaks in heat.
I'll probably just contact Kendy to get a new battery since my touchscreen has been acting up and i've been trying to convince her to send me a aluminum lid to replace my plastic one anyways. No worries I found a place for replacement batteries as well as some parts.

Though I'm still looking for a way to fix or replace my keyboard.
I got her to send me a complete keyboard/heatsink and membrane in the past when I asked so you should be a able to get a keyboard through her.
