I'm tempted to preorder this at Gamestop. They have some foil card or cover thing which I could care less about but they do have a DLC card. The only thing is its only good for 1 out of 5 items. I didn't miss the DLC in Lost Odyssey though and I would really rather rent this before buying.

Yeah, some of the achievements are pretty vague with what they expect... is this, "open every treasure chest in the game and discover all the hidden items in bookcases and cabinets and stuff", like Lost Odyssey's Treasure Trove, or "get one of every item/weapon/armor type"... hell, even the latter will be hard, considering tri-Ace games tend to have a ton of different weapons and items you can discover.

The official site has updated again. This time it covers the Connect Action, Recovery Request and Flute elements we learned about earlier. In addition they also show that there's another flute tune that Capel can learn that will allow him to perform in taverns to make money.

Holy crap. That's one of the things I missed in LO and BD. Something completely independent of the game (and fighting) that you could just do. Like the card games and casinos of FFs of old. Should be a pip.

The small "BGM" thing under the screen has three songs.
1 and 2 are my favorites, and Sakuraba seems to be doing well in this so far IMO.

I'm in love with this game and I'm looking forward to it's release,this is a day 1 purchase.

It's not that there are no shadows, there just isn't any lighting at all.
Still, this is probably the one JRPG I'm actually interested in. Is the world pretty much seamless and free-roaming?

I hope you are being sarcastic right? hehe,because shadows are great and all but it could only be section like this that have less,from what we have seen so far,it still looks great.
Only a month and a half away.
Just hope the final game is better than the on floor E3 demo, or at least have camera options other 'right in your fucking face.' I personally didn't have time to play for very long and started in the middle, so hardly going to judge the entire game by it, but that camera was really bad.
No real problem with the controls. Were like Rogue Galaxy, but a little less 'stiff,' which was a good thing. It was nice enemies were right there, so you can beat the snot out of one and move on to run into another without waiting for loading screens. Though enemies aren't free roaming like Oblivion, at least in the ones I ran into, more like they're sleeping and when you rush into their territory swinging your sword around it wakes them up. I didn't like how the environment was designed, but I never played beyond the forest bit.Fady K said:
