Next week will most defintiely be the first week in a few months that the PSP will beat DS, with the White PSP being released...

With that said, it is more likely that Micro will top the chart.

With all the excitement from TGS I forgot to post this.
Sales of the top 100 titles totaled 398,273 units. This is 80.67% of last week's figure and 52.24% of the weekly average, clear signs of a slowdown in the market. Together with the second and third week in May and first week in June, this is the fourth time this year that total weekly sales slipped below 400,000 units.

Fourteen new titles made the rankings, accounting for 23.28% of sales. "Fighting For ONE PIECE," in first place, sold about 32,000 units, which was not particularly robust. It was disappointing, too, compared to the performance put up by previous titles in the series. Titles such as "Kingdom Hearts" and "Final Fantasy X" were re-released as part of the "Ultimate Hits" series, and the five titles in the series sold about 32,000 units altogether. But sales of new titles were minuscule on the whole, and not enough to make up for the decline in existing titles.

will the PSP finally beat the DS this week? Seems like everyone thinks so... hmmm

I want a white PSP :)

Everyone? If anything, the daily charts lead us to believe that the PSP won't beat the DS at all.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked looking at the daily charts.

Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop and the combined Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games outsold Winning Eleven 9 PSP on day one and probably sold even more during the weekend where Nintendo games usually sell more.

If the white PSP, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Winning Eleven 9 can't move PSPs then I don't know what will.

Third pillar my freaking ass. The DS has effectively become the next Gameboy in Japan. :p Damn not even the PS2 can keep up with it.

I hope the PSP can pull it off. Sell, you little Playstation, sell!
