So Russel Taylor is his uncle was arrested in April and now is on life support due to suicide attempt. If Jared was guilty hypothetically, he has had ample time to destroy the evidence and the only person that could hypothetically connect him is not talking. Could be a very hard case to crack.

The FEDs normally don't raid on the suspicion of child porn possession, at least... I don't ever remember reading a story where they raided because they didn't know if someone had child porn.

So I think what's happening is that evidence found with the convicted guy has led police to believe that other Subway employees are possibly tied into it somehow.

It could be something as simple as Jared finding out about it but keeping his lips sealed, or the guy had a lot of contact with Jared so they want to find out what he knows and if they can nab any of the other people in the porn ring.

Hopefully he's innocent of any wrong doing, but I also hope they find and prosecute all the others that were involved.

I think the delay is likely just beaurocracy and legal stuff. Getting warrants, filing case evidence from the other dude, investigating all ties to the ring, etc.
