Didn't he say he knew about what was happening at blizzard but didn't not to ruin relationships with Activision

Op, could you provide some evidence to support your claim?

The way the text is written, it's basically: someone said something about someone else saying something at some point in some place.

Radical left cabal, what else is new..

If you're not an ally you're either a nazi or a collaborator.

No free speech and no freedom of though.

So how exactly did he get hired by Bloomberg?
Are you seriously asking why?

Because he has so much connections through industry that he is able to break stories that other people can't. And they are trying. Rebekah Valentine from IGN is trying to walk similar path but he is way ahead.
He has written exposes on development of Destiny, TLOU 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Halo Infinite etc.
He was able to publish information first about megaton infos like Microsoft buying Bethesda and ABK, Jim Ryan leaving, todays layoffs at Epic Games etc.

There is a reason why people said "So, I don't need to visit Kotaku anymore" when he left for Bloomberg.

I mean. He is a dick to people. Especially when you don't agree with his views on certain things (unions especially). But he is damn good reporter.
And for blocking people on Twitter. It's his profile. He can do with it whatever he wants. Hell. Kamiya decided that he wants to block everybody who is replying in English. Josh Sawyer (Obsidian) is blocking people with blue checkmarks. It's their right to do whatever they want. You have no "right" to follow him if he does not want to.

Does journalism still exist?
Probably not in games media. But there are still journalists out there that do investigate shit, vetting sources and applying all the journalistic methodology. The problem is that the job is usually a thankless one that doesn't pay well. It's easier to write shitty blog posts on Bloomberg, that are badly researched, heavily biased opinion pieces and post shit on Twitter, like Schreier does. The guy got incredibly salty when the Blizzard stuff was uncovered and he wasn't "in on the scoop", so he tried to downplay it etc. and got salty in general.

These urinalists are both irrelevant and out of touch. Don’t give them the time of day. You can get better data from a Twitch stream or independent Youtuber.
