To get back on track, any real update to this?

His daughter posted a video on twitter but I’m pretending to work right now and can’t turn the sound on.

Do you have any evidence that indicates she’s lying about what this diet has done for her? I don’t just go around calling people liars with no basis for doing so. She talked about what her health was like before and the issues with her legs and limbs and how she’s been the healthiest she has ever been since being on the diet.

I have no reason to not believe her.
Nah, you’re right.
I used to think they were charlatans looking to make a quick buck, but now that Jordan Peterson nearly went and got himself killed it’s pretty clear they both believe in their new age pseudo science lunacy.

Pretty sure is good enough for me. Bake him away, soys.
JP is a fairly educated person. Yet he doesn’t even know what his “auto immune” disease is. Just that he has an “auto immune disease” for reasons.

No physician is ever going to say you have an “auto immune disease” and leave it at that. Unless you’re seeing a quack, in which case all you need is a quick read of your shakra and a big check book to learn you have a deadly disease that can be easily cured by unlimited fecal transplants and other unregulated treatments in the developing country of your choice.

“fairly educated”

lol that subtle attempt at undermining his credibility. He’s a lot more educated than “fairly”.

The issue is he doesn’t fully know what his disease is but from experience has found that the carnivore diet minimises his symptoms. It works for him and he stated very clearly multiple times in his last JRE interview that he doesn’t recommend it for other people. The reason he is trying experimental treatments is because nothing else has worked so far. You’re trying to assassinate his character and undermine his credibility based on complete misrepresentations of what he is doing and what he has said.

The people cheering him being hurt and sick suck. Typical.

I don’t like Peterson personally. I always felt he was a bit too smug, and a bit pseudoscience / quack / I’ll argue with you just because, not becauseI believe in it / new age bullshit. He reminded me a bit of belle Gibson (google her with her “cancer” diagnosis) when he started talking health shit. However no one deserves this result and celebrities do seem to have a lot more pressure than most so who knows what has happened behind closed doors.

Egh the carnivore diet, where only .0000000001% of the population can do it and you still need daily multivitamins.

His daughter trying to sell the diet to others is the problem, but it doesn't have much to do with Peterson.

Peterson's alright. I have one of his books and watched a few hours of him speaking on YouTube. I think it's good that some young men are getting fatherly advice from him if male role models are entirely missing from their life. HIs secular advice is as solid as you can get as well. He isn't exactly saying anything revolutionary but some people need to hear certain adages with specific vocabulary for things to "click" and I'm glad that people are gaining wisdom that was otherwise lacking in their life. I do think he is a bit of a nutter but that's fairly common for his field and being at the top of his work. If you dig through history and look into the great philosophers and thinkers a lot of them were batshit insane and/or suicidal. Most of them couldn't cope with their own life issues. I don't think that invalidates their work but I can understand being skeptical of that person's advice.

Seems the only lunacy comes from your ridiculous hatred for Jordan Peterson and your childish attempts at manipulate what he is/stands for.

But don't worry, you're not alone.

She offers some services online, people can buy them or not. I don't see where is the problem. Is she trying to ride on her father's popularity? Sure, why not. Is she trying to sell something to people who might be desperate? Well, welcome to capitalism and internet.

And again, Jordan Peterson has talked non stop about how he doesn't recommend the meat only diet.

I mean, it still kind of bothers me that clinical Psychiatrist cannot fantom how Benzo's work and that simple taper would basically cause zero problems. If that poor soul went cold turkey, than RIP. Because I am not so sure, how basically a doctor, did not know, how dangerous these substances are. And basically Benzo's are so popular because they exhibit almost zero side effect and they "just work"... So tapering them should be #1 thing you do, when you want to jump off the benzo train, you just simply don't quit them...

He knew; despite what his daughter may have said. Peterson has written papers on benzo's, covering their addictive aspects. But he won't be the first or the last addict to know how things work and still end up addicted.

How he ended up thinking cold turkey induced coma was a good idea I have no clue.

So why the fuck, he act like this, irresponsibly? He reminds me of "woke" people, that they are preching one thing, but they act in a opposite way. You don't need any rehab for Benzo's if you are not an idiot, but obviously he thought very high of himself, if he thinks he just going to beat it cold turkey. This shit is something, which should never have been done.

I am not againts Peterson or anything like that, but my question is simply WHY?

Like I said.. wouldn't be the first addict who thought it couldn't happen to them. Doesn't make him a bad person or anything.

But yeah, no clue why he / they think Russia is the right answer. As much as western medicine is responsible for benzo addicts they also have the most experience with treating them.

Not sure, but in those type of countries, you can get treatement with unproven medicine, so it's just might be it. Anyway, he should have just suck his pride and taper that shitt off, without going to public speaking about Benzo's and his addiction at all. It would be better for everyone...

Jordan Peterson tweeted earlier today. I read it and saw the words “passed away” and I got scared shitless for a second but then saw he was paying an ode to a fellow deceased journalist.

Eh, there was this bitch that made people addicted to drugs to get a kickback from big pharma and in the end she ended up being addicted to them as well. A car hit her and now she's half retarded but serve no jail time though. So...yeah!

You took a sedative and it put you to sleep. No theory was confirmed.
I've taken various over the counter sedatives and other sleep remedies (often at higher doses than recommended) - none have allowed me to stay asleep throughout the night (and also enable me to sleep through loud-ish noises) except for Xanax and now Klonopin.

I'm not his biggest fan, but I'm glad he looks like he is recovering. Physical addiction is a terrible state to get in, and one which is very easy to reach due to how doctors casually prescribe these powerful medicines that completely transform how the brain works. I assume he is in physical therapy now - he looks pretty stiff, almost like how Charles Krauthammer was always presented, though he can obviously move.

“For me, the consequences of benzodiazepine withdrawal were worse than death.”

The podcast ends with Jordan in tears."lollipop_disappointed:
I hear a lot about benzodiazepine withdrawal. Weirdly enough I had to take this shit for a few months, years ago, and had no problem getting out of it 🤷‍♂️

Glad to see him talking again. I didn't watch the whole video, but the short bits I saw were revealing. Those pauses when he speaks are obvious signs he still hasn't recovered fully.

I like Peterson, and I hope he gets back on the road agitating the NPC crowd.

He's back writing in the National Post.

Super happy to see this. His voice and thoughts have been SORELY missed in these times where leftist voices are largely unchecked or unchallenged by big enough names on the proper platforms. Granted it has allowed for some smaller names to become bigger though none left leaning and with the pull of Jordan.
