Horrible story. Why did he go after him, though? Old racist white men are crazy and should be avoided at all costs.

I wonder how long it takes for the claim that "this wasn't racism, he's just mentally ill" to show up.

It was racism. The dude was also prone to violence even against family members so he didn't really give a shit about anybody. Also interesting that it being illegal for him to own a gun didn't stop him from having and using one to commit another awful act.

This guy should have been locked up or in mental counseling long ago. Failure of the system for him to be out and about in public.

Donated, I am from WV as well. It felt only fitting to help out in anyway I could, and honestly I'm hoping the extra money goes to a lawyer.

I'm from WV too. Don't live there any more, but it's not hard to imagine the type of person this guy was, just from my experience growing up there.
