RocketDarkness said:Multi-grapple is a hack that is currently available for the demo. I tried it out, it's amazing. I tethered a helicopter to a mountain like a crazed beast. Also, I tethered two helicopters together, then hijacked one of them. Then, when mine was blown out of the sky, I watched the other wrestle futilely with the controls as the wreckage pulled him down.

Enable infinite health, I guess not having it enabled causes problems.

Man, I totally forgot to do that! I used to do that ALL the damn time in San Andreas in the mine pit in near Las Venturas with my brother. Spawn a hovercraft, use the crane to hook onto it, and fly that shit as high as possible :lolCday said:![]()
Too bad the demo is only 30 min or else I would do this all day.

Unfortunately it's just a PC mod. Apparently you can't upgrade the grapple at all in the full game, only guns and vehicles.GHG said:So is multi-grapple an upgrade available in the full game or is it just a mod?
Maybe an unbreakable grapple? It kind of sucks that the grapple snaps when you attach a moving car to the ground.Mechanical Snowman said:Unfortunately it's just a PC mod. Apparently you can't upgrade the grapple at all in the full game, only guns and vehicles.
If this is what modders come up with in the demo then I can't wait to see some full game mods![]()

"Yeah, we're going to have some fun with DLC," beamed lead designer Peter Johansson, "but unfortunately I can't talk about the specifics.
"We're going to have a lot of DLC. We'll see what happens," he added with a grin. "DLC is important, but a game like Just Cause 2 can live pretty long because it's not just playing through the story and being done with it - there's the completion rating and playing with friends. That's what we do in the office!"
Johansson said his save file at the time of the interview was 60 per cent complete, a feat that had taken him 55 game hours to accomplish. Finishing the campaign, he explained, represents barely a quarter of what's on offer.

Wth - possible code for a mission where you lose an arm? :lolArchaix said:This thread has been alive entirely too long for me to search for this, but I encountered a pretty great bug last night. I had about two minutes left in the demo and was just screwing around with the base jumping/parachute mechanics (which for the record completely make the game for me, because I'm a sucker for open world games with unique and fun traversal methods) when I started grappling to cars to gain speed while parachuting. I did it a few times in a row, and all of a sudden my left arm tore off and flew with one of the trucks as I kept parachuting away. Immediately, I lost function of my left arm, AKA the fun one. I also had flung myself far enough so that I was no longer within walking distance of anything interesting. I didn't even have a way to suicide by cop to make it reset, so I just ended that demo out with 30 seconds of running with one arm wondering why the game recognized that the arm was gone on the UI (I had no left weapon displayed and the game didn't show the grapple crosshair).
