So I managed to have a glitch at the start of the beta where we had two people on a motorbike. I couldn't control at all or even get off of it but it was pretty cool regardless.

I ended up gaining control after he fell out so all was good.

I've downloaded the newest version of the patch and placed it into a random directory. I added the IP address and gave myself a nickname, and then pointed the directory at the JC2.exe file. When I click launch it seems my computer tries to load something but nothing ever happens.

Any suggestions?

I own the game on ps3, but am definitely going to double dip when the game goes on sale during the steam summer sale. Any other mods worth checking out for this game? I think I remember a BOLO mod which featured multiple grappling hooks. Would that be compatible with this multiplayer mod?

Me too. Had it installed, actually had been playing it a bit here and there. I ran one round of the mp and liked what I saw! There is some serious potention here if they expand upon it and give the player options like doing missions cooperatively, shit like that.

Pretty fun. I was on a motorcycle and some sort of tank was chasing me on the highway. Explosions everywhere. Mr. Bay would have been proud.

better to just leave the city altogether and head to one of the military bases and find your self a chopper. Nothing like taking off only to be thrown out of your ride and insta-killed.

I honestly don't really care about doing missions in co-op, but it would be cool if there could be servers where you're supposed to destroy everything and it records everything that is destroyed until it gets to 100%. Just go around and destroy stuff with friends/gaffers, basically.

That's the first thing I thought when I played. If everybody worked together how long would it take to 100% complete the destructible stuff? Hopefully something like that becomes possible as the mod progresses.

Seriously do not fly to lost island - you'll get blasted out of the sky by something or rather. The mod is awesome....but just a tad chaotic. Held up really well. No slowdown, though it did CTD twice during the hour I spent online. Great stuff.

Just tried this for a bit, fun as hell. I got a helicopter from the harbor by the city, and then got it stolen from me pretty quickly. Also, is there a way to kick people out of passenger seats or something? I was in the passenger seat of a helicopter once, and then I just inexplicably fell out of it.

The greatest moment though, was in the city, I got a sports car, and was driving on the right side of the highway. I was going pretty damn fast, and all of a sudden, there was this other car in my lane coming head on! We couldn't see each other in time, so we crashed, both cars flipped over the guardrail and onto a nearby roof. Mine went on the ground, so I bailed out and went on the roof where the other car went. The other guy and I sat there laughing for a minute, we both got in his car, but the roof had guardrails, so we couldn't get it off that roof.

It's fun, not sure what all we can do, but damn, is that map huge, and if you die, it's kind of unforgiven in choices of spawn points. That city be huge, and it takes time to find each other.
