Alt-tab works perfectly fine for me. I haven't had any issues so far.

Pure craziness. Planes going everywhere, cars exploding, people bombing everywhere. It ended up freezing.

They just limited the server to 500 people.
They think said somewhere around 1000-1500.

Once I click launch, it just hangs on the splash screen. How long did it take everyone else?

I had a solid 60fps when I was in and it was 500 players on the server at that time. I died and game crashed when I respawned.

It tries to connect me to the server, but it seems to stop after awhile

Same. Sometimes it connects and when it does I crash 5 mins later. Beta ah well.
Nah it's pretty good for me and I have an old 4870.

edit : yeah just checked with fraps and I have a solid 60fps most of the time.

Nope works pretty good. Goes down a little low sometimes but for the most time works well for me.
This is a lot of fun! Great to go to airports and watch the planes actually fly off.

Does anyone else have the problem when twitch.tv freezes your browser constantly? Weirdly enough, it only happens when I'm actually watching it on the website. Some websites suggest increasing the size of the data Flash can store, but that has no effect.

Got it to work, but it just kicked me out. I wasn't able to make it to the airport.

Looks amazing though. I'll let GAF beta test it for a while and I'll check back in on this in a week! JC2 is an amazing game. If this mod works well it'll be my GOTY easily.

That's what I've gotten so far, on 2 chances. I did see a person's name as "logged in" before I lost connection, so I think it's possible. restarting after installing mumble. Here's an idiot question, can the 360 headset work through a 360 gamepad plugged into the PC? Can't remember testing that out.

Nah, probably would cause too much lag. I don't think the enemies respond even though I've gained heat some times. That would be kinda cool if they responded, but it would be way too much.

This looks incredible. Been wanting to replay this game recently too, never actually played the PC version. Picked it up for like 2.50 on an amazon sale a while back
