Holy crap. How does it work?
So played it a bit tonight... it's fun... but loses it's charm quickly without much to do. Can't kill people outside of vehicles, and you don't have any weapons other than machine gun and grenades.
Once they add the ability to do that t hen the game will be a blast.
About last night, kb was broke and still is. Using Vita to type this. Mod has major potential. The chat log is like streaming youtube comments, terrible. I haven't updated ti the late night patch but as of patch 2, game has been very stable. Can't wait to try more tonight. Love that this breathing new life into this game. PC gaming, enough said.
For those having issues, try this in order
Verify steam cach of JC2
Launch vanilla game and load your last save until ingame then exit
Make sure JC2-MP is in documents or C drive root folder
launch the mp exe with all needd info
I can try to make it around 6-7pm EST tonight as I'm getting ready to go work right now.Any way to play it earlier? I got yelled at for not sleeping at night.

How long before role-playing starts? I give it t-minus 50 days
I'm already seeing RPing in the chat, haha.
How many players are able to fit on the server at one time?
This sounds incredible. I'm likely picking up JC2 just for this.
1500.
I wouldn't make it the sole reason. It's pretty barebones at the moment. No PvP, no NPC's or cars on the streets whatsoever - it's basically just a big sandbox world to mess about in with others.
That said, JC2 is so cheap now and is a ton of fun - strongly recommend! I owned it on 360 at launch but bought a Steam code for £3 last week on PC.
Wow, it's like a mini-MMO. Really interested to see this develop. I'm hoping the game's modding limitations don't hurt it too much as it already feels abit hacked together.
Man, I just turned down buying Just Cause 2 for cheap because I own it on PS3 and Xbox, and couldn't possibly see a good reason to pay for it on PC. /sigh

Just had my first taste. So AWESOME. Me and some guy kept carjacking each other until a guy in a big ass tank decided to end our dispute by destroying the car and us along with it.
I also made a grand exit last night before I left. I circled the airport until I found some people ready to take off on 2 huge airliners. I then proceeded to kamikaze and crash into the first which then blew up the 2nd carrier. It was epic.
Superman mod, how does it work?
To be fair when Just Cause 2 was made the Avalanche engine didn't support multiplayer, which is one of the reasons Renegade Ops was made (To implement online multiplayer into their engine).PSY・S;39604119 said:Every time I quit the game and come back to this thread I find myself booting the game up again. Just Cause 2 really should've had multiplayer from the start.
Hell even without MP, JC3 is going to be so amazing. To be fair when Just Cause 2 was made the Avalanche engine didn't support multiplayer, which is one of the reasons Renegade Ops was made (To implement online multiplayer into their engine).
So hopefully we will see multiplayer launch offically with Just Cause 3.
How many people are in the server right now?
Lol, you know there is a map in the game right? You can even set waypoints.PSY・S;39604119 said:Also, where the hell is the airport? I've found it twice before but could never find it again.
Just played a bit. This is pretty awesome. Wish there were NPCs though.
