not just crash, but hardlocked my computer crash...

Worst thing about getting kiled/crashing is the horrendous spawn point system. I don't want to spawn miles away from where I was. Setting your own spawn points would be amazing. Just set a limit for how soon you can set them to avoid people saving all the time.

Did nothing. Still have the issue. Even downloaded a new version of the mod etc.

You can unlock the black market if you replace "jcmp_save.sav" in the /data folder of JC-MP (back it up first) with another JC2 save (rename it to "jcmp_save.sav") where the black market is unlocked. I downloaded a 100% save from a website, so I had loads of money to use on the black market as well. This makes getting out of the city much easier, since you can just airdrop a mini-plane to your spawn.

I can't get it working and it's annoying. Followed the readme with a fresh download through Steam from last night, but the game wasn't running well for me at all in Windows 8 so I just did a reinstall of 7. Still didn't work, so now I'm re-downloading the game.

I don't need to be at a certian point in the game do I? It just loads normally when I launch it with the multiplayer launcher.

Tried it a bit, pretty chaotic and awesome, also saw someone from Gaf (i think).
Had plenty of LAG, but it was very much playable.
Having to play without my Superman mod kills it a bit, though.

haha I was having way too much fun jumping on people's cars and attaching them to other cars we passed along the way. I also got into some tug-o-war matches, and for some reason bikes always win. My car was flying all over the place.
