Kay Plays |OT|

Kay says she pretty much has been playing BL2 a lot recently on Steam so I would imagine Tales from the Borderlands to maybe even be the thing after Life is Strange.

When she posted the last LiS episode she said she was going away for a few days but would be back later in the week, but maybe something came up. Looking at her steam profile she hasn't played any more of the game so it will be a few more days wait at least.
 
Honestly I'm fine with Kay taking a bit of time between episodes. That's generally how I prefer to play episodic games even if the entire episode order is out or I have a backlog.

If you liked her Gone Home playthrough, you'll like this one, provided you can deal with some awkward slang use in the game dialog. Kay's in full detective mode for this game and it's glorious.

Looks like Episode 11 of the Let's Play will finish up Episode 2 of Life is Strange.

I guess the questionnaire may have some connection with the content and issues discussed at the end of Episode 2. It deals with
depression, suicide, bullying
.
 
Kay's reaction to what lies ahead should be interesting - starting with the end of EP3. She was not phased by the apparent
death of Argo
is Shadow of the Colossus, so I have no idea about what she is going to say about events in LIS.

It was so fun seeing that back to back with the Giantbomb crew.

Vinny also called the wheelchair, but not because he noticed the access ramp, but just because of his media literacy and experience with these kinds of plots (as did I).

Kay used her observational skills and quick logical deduction to call it, and it's that kind of stuff that separates her from the average LPer.
 
Was expecting Kay to do exploring in the past version of the Price household but I love that she just up and panicked like anyone else would even with rewind powers. It's actually cool how many hiding spots or alternative things you can do there for such a small scene.

Man watching her put together a big chunk of episode 4 is gonna be awesome to see.
 
I haven't gotten to her life is strange play through yet, still watching the Souls stuff.

I'm curious if she has any intentions of playing Bloodborne in the future? After watching Demon's Souls I kinda really want to see her play it.

She does, but her boyfriend is addicted to Destiny and they only have one PS4 so it'll be awhile.

Dark Souls 3 might even come first, since she could play that on pc.

Kay has said she wants to play Bloodborne, but her current setup for recording from consoles involves dragging cables across rooms. To do recording sessions for Bloodborne a setup period would be needed every single time. It would be a hassle compared to the almost instant-on recording from PC. She also said once that her BF plays a lot of Destiny (on PS4), which reduces her time with the console too. She also commented she has no interest in that game - which is the correct response to Destiny!!

The whole thing boils down to a lack of time with the PS4. and the hassle to set up recording when she has access.
 
Okay thanks friends. Well I'd definitely be down for watching Dark Souls 3 at least. Here's hoping Bloodborne happens one of these days though.
 
Happy she's LPing this one. It's a game that I'm interested in, but at the same time I'm the kind of gamer who really does not like to explore or talk to all NPCs. I don't really have the time commitment or interest for it. These LPs kind of let me experience the story, but I can watch parts in chunks or even while doing something else. It's also great to see her get so involved in the game. Seems she's enjoying it quite a bit!

Anyway, have people recommended her to play Undertale yet? Would be a great little palette cleanser. It's also an incredible game that everyone should play.

Yeah, she's gotten youtube comments about Undertale. I'd be down for that too.
