Well, that was a disappointing bump.
I'd love to see Kay try her hand at XCOM 2.
Probably just changing recording setups and equipment over time along with just time and being used to doing LP videos probably more than anything else.Unrelated but I just watched the first few episodes of her Dark Souls 1 playthrough again and her voice is so different. I think someone said a while back that she mentioned adjusting/editing it for later videos?
I haven't seen Kay play in forever. She's ok, I hope.
We can switch from "I wonder if she's going to play Bloodborne" to "I wonder if she's going to play Dark Souls 3", right?

Kotaku has published an article about Kay playing Dark Souls containing quotes from Kay. It is an excerpt from You Died: The Dark Souls Companion, a book about Dark Souls and the delightfully mad people who play it by Keza MacDonald and Jason Killingsworth.

I revel in how much that flies in the face of the commentary that frequently surrounds Dark Souls and gaming in general. One of the biggest reasons I enjoyed LP.Maybe it gave me confidence that I could play more technically challenging games. Before, Id tend to stick to story-driven games and, bar a few exceptions, avoid heavily strategic, skill-based games.
Kay has posted a few comments on her most recent video (still the few weeks old Valkyria Chronicles one) saying that she will be back to playing/recording this week. She also commented that she will do a Dark Souls III run, but is unsure what form that will take alongside completing Valkyria Chronicles.
I dont think you can direct link to comments on YouTube, but you can see the main comment here.
The way you worded that scared the hell out of me, thinking she wouldn't post live commentary/blind vids, but reading the actual comment it doesn't sound like she's changing her format; just unsure how to juggle the two LPs.

Sorry to bump this, but there are still unanswered questions here:
1. Kay WTF are have you gone? we need you.
2. I heard you're doing campaign work for the presidential election in the US. I'm not a US citizen (I'm european), but I'm following the primaries here and there. I guess you wouldn't disclose if you're rooting for Bernie or whatever, but I'm most definitely curious about your insight about the whole presidential race and the american political system in general.
Thanks for the heads up. Kay without an editing pc sucks though...If you skim the page before, you'll see she needs a new PC.
I didn't want to impose any pre-conceived notion on her, but I admit that I was pretty sure about that myself...She is a Bernie supporter.
lol. Me too.I think I'm near the end of the game and I'm prepared to see just how much stuff I've missed.
Hell yeah. I'm looking forward to seeing if she picks up on some of the stuff that ENB has missed so far. It'll be quite interesting to compare their play throughs.
