- New 3DS Castlevania announced at TGS for 2012
- 3D Classics Castlevania in 2011
- Castlevania GB games released on Virtual Console.
- Castlevania Collection with CV 1-4, Rondo of Blood (in English), and SOTN. On a disc. With a soundtrack CD. And a poster or something.

If Konami actually gave any one a semblance of a budget (and the only person who would voluntarily even approach the series after LoS's kinda ho-hum performance is IGA), I would hope that they just got Battle of 1999 over and done with at this point.

Would love me some Castlevania on Vita.

Seeing at this point that Nintendo aren't going to announce a proper 2/2.5D Metroid for the 3DS along with the general lacking library of new titles on the console, I am hopeful for some Vita love in the future, Castlevania would just add to the already awesome line-up of titles we know of so far.

But seriously Nintendo, a new Metroid or even a Super Metroid "remake" for 3DS in the style of Shadow Complex would have been a great announcement to make.
