It really sucks all this happened. I'm in the camp where I see Invisible Children as being a fine organization. I think people just love to have an enemy. The only part I haven't looked too far into is their relationship with the local militaries.

I really wanted this to work out. Not even so much for the fact that its Kony, more along the lines of a demonstration in how powerful social media can be as a tool to promote change and a tool to promote action. These guys made one really good video and it exploded. Their campaign resonated with people, their idea to "make Kony famous" was interesting.

And it'd be fun putting posters up all around the city.

I knew it. He tripped, slipped on the floor and accidentally stuck a tab of acid in his orange juice.

It was all so obvious the whole time.

No, he was running around his house naked, tripped, slipped on the floor and accidentally fell on a tab of acid someone dropped the previous night, and it went up his butt.

Well, today is the day for "Cover the Night". Will be interesting to see just how much of a response there is. I'm predicting the people who bought kits will probably do something, but the majority of those who were posting the video on Facebook and Twittering about it probably will have forgotten about it, be too busy with their social lives, or because of it being 4/20 be at home blazing up.

Haha. I never even thought about it.

The "meltdown" didn't help with anything either. But if enough people bought kits I'm guessing there will be enough of an impact to create a buzz in the media again.

Anyone else find it disrespectful that they decided to make this on the same day the initiator of the biggest Jewish genocide was born?
