I'm seeing truckloads of new hardware this year, but very few games that have me excited.
Pokemon Conquest may be my only (non-iOS) game purchase in all of 2012, and that's only because it's the first original Pokemon RPG since Red/Blue.
SCOFF.Actually, I would surmise that it probably has a better chance of surviving without the black, destructive plague that is "AAA" garbage.
Every main Pokemon game has been an RPG.
Fuck it! if it has close to the power of the PS3/Xbox 360 & it's open I want it.
It's already gonna fail just on the fact that I have no idea how to pronounce it
Dreidel dreidel dreidel, I made you out of clay...
So you don't mind a world without fully 3D Zeldas?
I pledged 95 bucks, just for Mame alone.
Looking at the specs, where would it put it in terms of power compared to other consoles? PS2 or something?

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I didn't mean emulate the PS2. But as in power in direct comparison.
Ah. Honestly I don't know how much that would matter... Since most are probably going to use this an emulation machine that's probably what's most important.
I don't think it could emulate a PS2.
I think it's just an early bird special.decided to take the plunge..
there shouldn't be any difference between the 95 and 99 option aint
Kairosoft is ran by a robot that very slowly ports old cellphone games to modern devices.Get Kairosoft to make games for it! They can be the Square Enix of the Ouya, except ya know, good.
Except that credible people are supporting it, and it's founded on the well supported Android platform.I smell something that will be sold at mall kiosks, Spencer Gifts, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Gizmondo 2.0

It's not even arsed to make tablet versions of the games.

I'm not convinced this will actually become a product that is available for sale.
If it does, I'm highly skeptical that it will obtain retail distribution.
If it does, I'm certain it won't generate any new game software development for Android as a whole.
If it does, I don't think that development will be successful.
If it is, I expect that success will be short-lived.
In the Kickstarter video there is footage of a guy carpentering the Ouya controller out of wood. Just like Jesus did in the New Testament.I also remember that someone credible (Kevin Bachus) supported the Phantom.
What's the proper pronounciation?
