LittleBigPlanet 2 |OT| A Platform For Games

I found an awesome level titled Angry Whale Survival. It's the best water/animal survival I've played.

If anyone has played, I have a few questions:
How do you fly the helicopter?
How do you spawn the sub?
How do you kill the whales?

Damn, almost 5 months without any posts, makes my sackheart sad.

Well, I just got back into creating a lot thanks to the fantastic DC pack with the Hero Cape the Walljump mechanic! I didn't think walljumping would be that great of an addition but really opens up the platforming and makes traversal much more fun.

I'm still looking for a vita player to help me with all the cross-controller stuff, too. You really shouldn't be able to buy the pack if you don't own a vita -- it just sits there... taunting me...

! It's out? I had no idea. How much, and what all does it add?

The level pack is $6.99; Costume packs (only 1 available now) are $5.99; and a Season Pass (Level pack, all 4 Costume packs) is $24.99.

The Level Pack comes with 2 costumes (Cyborg, Cheetah), the Hero Cape power-up, the Wall Jump material / tweaker, and dozens of materials / stickers / objects / decorations -- oh, and the Memorizer, which allows for the saving of progress.

The Hero Cape allows Sackboy to glide by holding R1 after jumping; it's very similar to the mechanic in the Batman: Arkham series. It's highly maneuverable and very fun to use if the level is designed for it, like the Hero Race side level.

The new Wall Jump material and tweaker is really, really good. Whatever surface is activated, Sackboy will cling to it and be able to slide up/down at varying speeds, then jump off at the right time. Slide speed and direction can be changed from +/-200%; so Sackboy can slide up/down, or just stay in place. Jump strength can also be changed from +/-200%.

Wall Jumping really opens up the platforming, IMO, and it is very fun to just create a little course and traverse your way through.

Nice. It's not cross-buy, though, is it?

I'll probably have to plug my PS3 in and try it in the next few months.

Sweet, I don't really care about the DC universe aside from Batman, but those new mechanics sound awesome, and new levels are always fun! Lack of cross-buy is disappointing though. I know the community levels from 1 are accessible in 2, are community levels in 2 accessible in Vita?

Hi all. I hope posting in this topic is okay since it has been a while since it has been posted in.

I was wondering if someone could play through some of my levels and record them for me. I don't have the proper equipment, such as a capture card. I'd love them to be made into YouTube videos, or you can just give me the videos and I'll upload them to my own account.

These levels in particular I'd love to see:

Would anyone be able to do this for me?

Well, with the relatively recent announcement of LBP3, now isn't a bad time to revive the thread.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with your predicament, although recording levels will become a lot easier in 4 months.
