I feel like the Tomb Raider reboots have overtaken Uncharted in the Uncharted genre
Dungeons are more fun in Tomb Raider (and the ones in Shadow are gorgeous), but the Tomb Raider stories for the last 2 have been weak (arguably, the last 3 are weak, but the reboot was fresh so it was easy to ignore the story problems and the weak antagonists).
Part of the problem, though, is the franchise and Lara herself - they have to manufacture problems for her that usually go against the "raid tombs for fun" gameplay loop, and in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it was especially grating.
Nathan Drake's more fun, Lara's just too perfect (?) to really be interesting. The older Tomb Raider games were more interesting than the last 3, though.
I did enjoy parts of Shadow, though, but the story wasn't one of those things.
