Can those that are getting better performance post their setup? Just trying to get an idea for my own.
getting around 50fps now
a lot smoother than before though
Yep, such a handy tool
6700k (4.5ghz)
980 (1480mhz)
16gb ddr4 (3066mhz)
850 Evo
Extremly high CPU load, but no bottleneck as gpu load is at 99%. Not even close... (but downtown at night could be the worst case scenario).

It's possible for me to play this at 60 on low. i5 6600k, 970, 16GB ram, 1080p.
Medium is hovering between 40-60.
High is 35-40 fps.
I never got reshade to work properly cause I'm a dumbass. Any short tutorials on how I can clean up Mafia 3?

Quick test:
i7 3770
970
16GB RAM
Everything max was like 39fps.
the patch introduced another problem at least for me but the FPS unlock works.
Your specs destroy what is required for this game. This is unacceptable. lol
This is one of the worst-optimized games I have ever played, bar none.
With the frame rate uncapped, I'm still struggling to get over 45 FPS at 1080p with a mixture of High/Medium settings, and I'm using an overclocked GTX 970.
Meanwhile in GTA V, with most of the settings cranked all the way up I very rarely drop below 70.

Even gtx1080 not able to sustain 60 fps lol
Err, 45 fps on 720p with 980ti?
720p? Only 45 FPS with your rig?
Something something do not judge optimizations from max settings something..
1080p. I downsized the screenshot to make it smaller for posting reasons.
Ehhh
I think I'll stick with 30 FPS. I basically have to turn everything down to low just to hit 60 FPS on a 970. Even then, I'm met with some straight up horrible frame pacing and stutter.
Oh, I see. It's not much better tho, you should be getting 60 FPS without any problem at all with your PC.
Watching the GPU usage @30fps it was obvious that holding 60 @max would be hard
They unlocked FPS, but that is all they did. If you want 60+ FPS and smooth experience then hope your PC can brute force living shit out of the game.

Literally put the files you download into the game directory![]()
this looks like one of those games I'll buy once the devs scramble around enough for weeks to release patches to optimize this game properly and fix the annoying issues. I have a 1070 and if people with 1080s can't even keep steady 60 I'm not going to bother, nothing I've seen of this game warrants this performance.
Was PC an after thought?

This is starting to look a lot like the Arkham Knight situation. Now that I think about it, Arkham Knight had a 30 fps cap too (though you could edit that through .ini)
Hopefully they'll also patch performance.
Oh wow game looks so good now!
Patch made the game awesome btw. Everything is so smooth no stuttering that I'm noticing at least. Gsync doing gods work.
