I'm not even that big of a racing nut but all these talks of birds and what not has me excited. :lol

Come on Sony you can do it.

Nurburgring, Complex String and Grindelwald are the only old tracks that should feature on the GT5 Blu-ray - all the others (50+) should be brand new to GT5.

Also like Autum Ring mini. I like when a car can do the ] as a ) under full throttle.
endlessflood said:The Top Gear track will be great for that reason. But before people get too excited, they know that it's a really Mickey Mouse track right? The way they film it on Top Gear makes it look very impressive, but if you see the actual track map it's decidedly uninspiring:
IGN: You've got a London track in Prologue that looks absolutely lush. We often fantasise about what course a London GP would take how did you come up with the layout?
Kazunori Yamauchi: I come to London very often, and I've walked the streets and I know them, so that helped a lot. The course that we have in the game at the moment is actually half the size that we originally thought, it's a short course basically, so in Gran Turismo 5 we'll have the longer course in there.
Of course, after reading all that, youre probably wondering who Amar212 is, and how can he be trusted? What makes him different from any other enthusiastic GT fan on the internet? He remains a mysterious figure to the public, but he is a long-time friend of GTPlanet and the administrator of the Croatian website, GT Surgeons. It all started back in July of 2004, when Amar brought us the worlds first video of the Nurburgring Nordschliefe in Gran Turismo 4 - long before anything official had been provided, and six full months before the game was even released! He also got his hands on early copies of Gran Turismo 4 and GT5 Prologue Spec II, and was first to discover the inclusion of the Ferrari F2007 and Ferrari F40 weeks before the game hit any shelves. In other words, this man knows what hes talking about - get ready for E3 and share your reactions in our Gran Turismo 5 forum!

I don't remember the top track in previous GT games? Features two bridges.
Oh look, it's Tahiti Maze... yet again :(

Just no. El Capitan, Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, Grand Valley, Tokyo, Rome Night. So many other great tracks.
YES PLEASE.Sirolf said:My wife works at the "Le Musee des 24 heures " at Le Mans.
She was in touch with Sony Computer France to have a Logitech driving simulator with "Le circuit de la Sarthe".(And she has succeded !!I've played a build of GT5 prologue with this circuit and all the cars from it.If you want some pics or movies , i can provide ).
To get to the point, she's working to have a rendez-vous with a person from Sony France and Kazunori Yamauchi (who attends the event every year here in Le Mans) at the circuit to have a special game event like last year.
So if all the stars are aligned , i will surely have a lot of informations very very soon :X

Yeah, more variety would be nice. Daytona is great, but unless there's a stock car available and 40 cars on the track, it would get boring after a bit. And there needs to be car damage, so I can go NASCAR and punt people into the wall to win.Niks said:I wish Road America or(and) Mid-Ohio were present for the USA tracks... sooo much better than Infineon Raceway.

Awesome! I've been wishing to myself for a few weeks now that Sony would have a presence at Sarthe this year and hopefully push to have some sort of GT5 event this year showcase the newest iteration of the game before E3. It sounds like that will happen to some degree.
Additionally, has anyone been keeping tabs on the teams this year? A few weeks ago I read that Pescarolo is going to be fielding a Peugeot 908. Are they also going to field one of their Judd chassis vehicles? I ask because Pescarolo has had a large sponsorship by Sony/Polyphony for quite a few years now, and the factory Peugeot 908's have Xbox 360 logos on their sides. I think that could make for an interesting race if both companies are sponsoring the 908s :lol
Laguna Seca, Indy (both tracks), Daytona, and Infineon is a pretty good mix though. I just wish they would have the Bathurst track. 6.2 km of mountain madness:twinturbo2 said:Yeah, more variety would be nice. That's probably a more useful vid, but I just love Murphy's pole lap!Ranger X said:Here's a lap of Bathurst is cock pit view so you guys can grasp how many hills and blind curves there is in that AMAZING track. Totally deserving to be in any real racing game.

Stop It said:Er, no. The Top gear test track was designed by Lotus, not some bunch of people with no idea about track deisgn. It may LOOK unassuming but is considered one of the most techincal test tracks in the world, which is why most manufacturers are willing to let their cars unleashed on there, because it is a recognised benchmark.
Put simply, the chance to do a "Stig" on GT5 is too good to miss, frankly.

The build at the museum has a lot more cars than just the R8.
I will record a movie next week to see if the circuit has been improved at all.

Grayman said:What is the history with those two tracks(aria and amalfi)? They are obviously awesome but how did they get in GT?, and aria in a mercedes commercial on now. Were they raced in group B rally, used in a movie, or just cool roads that PD found like seattle and tokyo r246.

iamcool388 said:I've never played a GT game (except the GTHD demo on PSN), so quite excited about it. My only concern is that it seems too hardcore... What if I just want to drive nice looking cars and race? I dont know if I want to check the suspension or change racing tires or all those other options... I dont even know what half of them mean!
