It's not that weird, it is afterall a trait often desired in men ("Rugged looks").

My wife knows very well that not only do I prefer how she looks without makeup on (and obviously I know what she actually looks like without makeup on), but that I specifically dislike makeup.
Yet, she continues to take an hour every morning to get ready and put on makeup and everything.
She says she "does it for herself." Whatever, as long as she's happy I guess.
But, I still dislike makeup, as I always have.
Not to mention, it's not appealing at all to get a mouthfull of powder or fumes or gunk when kissing someone.
Plus, having that much of my paycheck going to stuff that just gets washed away in the evening isn't too fun either.

Can be damn attractive - especially if the colouring is contrasting with the body (dark skin + bright make-up or bright skin + darker make-up).
