I'm going to mention Michelle Phan again. God knows how I stumbled upon her channel, but I ended up watching about an hour of her make up tutorials. Just this stunning girl with a sweet voice, making herself look pretty while displaying fantastic artistic technique was quite mesmerising. She does eyes very well:One thing this thread has taught me.....Mascara makes a huge difference in making your eyes look bigger.
He doesn't wear makeup. He has stated several times that is just how he looks.

you can't lift out a butterface.Gym.
I like confident women. Make up often sends the opposite message. Plus my skin isn't perfect so why would I care if yours is?
Having makeup on has zero to do with confidence.
Are men who body-build insecure?
No it is an apt comparison.
That is a terrible comparison
Do you have to body build before you feel comfortable going to the store?
Is wanting to make yourself look better lack of confidence?.

I do. I keep my beard trimmed and edged which always takes like 15-20 minutes of my day so I wake up earlier. I cut my hair every 15 days, cut my nails when they get too long, I use q-tips in my ears and I cut my excess nose hair.
When I don't look like a bum I boost my confidence and I don't think I'm hiding behind my beard.

Wouldn't that be considered as maintaining acceptable hygiene? (sans getting haircut every 15 days)
I would either let my beard grow or just shave it every day and as long as I wash my face neither those of would be dirtier than the rest.
Man, reading this I came to the sad realization that what you typed might not be the norm for everyone, cause that is some serious common sense upkeep that I would expect every normal male to do. Cutting your nails when they get long...of course lol..

I couldn't believe my eyes when 2 of my HS friends told me they didn't brush their teeth everyday (I brush twice a day).
I swear man, some people are just so lazy.
Damn it! Stop using q-tips in your ear! It's bad for you!

I try to speard the word.
Gym.

Quite often, yeah
I wish I could wear some light make-up to cover up the red spots I get from my acne. The zits themselves often only last a day, but the redness stays foreeever. I hate it and suffer for it.
It doesn't phase me the slighest when other people have it, so maybe girls do the same and marvel at my strong cheekbones and manly jaw instead of being shallow and making fun of my acne, but still, can't shake that feeling, ya know.

Not necessarily. I would either let my beard grow or just shave it every day and as long as I wash my face neither those of would be dirtier than the rest. It's mostly about appearance, It look less like a kid, it hides my double chin. I only style it because I want to look good and it takes as much time as applying make up possibly.
I'm just saying that we are not that different, both Men and Women have our rituals to look better to the opposite sex.

Not a fan. I think it's a dumb concept to begin with, and a reflection of a very vain society. "Here, let me apply fake features to make others perceive me differently (as a means to achieve success or appear sexy)." It's an attempt to fit a ridiculous societal construct that venerates emptiness and disparages truth, and subsequently, our humanity.
Or you know some people just have fun doing it.
Yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about.lol you guys have no clue...
if you wanna see some shit, asian girls are seriously OP with makeup.
just google "asian girls makeup" to see moar.
Oh hey, it's you again. Different thread same shit. Are you telling me you never judge anyone, wasn't aware we had a real life saint.
Also looks better on the left. Right has this creepy shiny skin thing going on.
Yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about.
I think she looks better without the make-up on.
Everyone is always saying things like "no, no, you guys who think girls look better without make-up on, you don't know. This is the actual difference between girls who wear make-up and those who don't. Girls need make up it looks much better."
But this is exactly what I'm talking about when I say women look better without make-up on. I don't see how the "after make-up" second picture is an improvement at all. She looks gorgeous without the make-up on. Heck, her face looks like it has actual human skin on it instead of some weird shiny thing.
By the way, "Asian girls"? Nice way to stereotype.
