[Rewrite]

Does anybody know at around which chapter HxH begins some big long tournament type thing. The last thing I can recall is a long trek through some kind of tunnel with a bunch of random people and then finally ending up at some large underground forest. I only ever watched the anime but I prefer reading manga. I'll probably start the manga at the beginning and I'm scared to go read what arc I'm at in case of spoilers.

That's the beginning first part of Hunter x Hunter. Just read the manga from the start...it won't take you too long to reach where you left off from the anime.

I found volume 4 a bit disappointing. While the flashback fleshed out a bit of the side and main characters, which is good (potato girl was great), I would have liked it more to have gotten to see more of the actual plot unfold, which is pushed to the next volume.

AOTG's writing is exceptional. The art is a bit juvenile but it does the job of being creepy.

I thought the backstory was just what it needed to flesh out eren and the other characters more.

How did anyone (including Danzo) know about Shisui's ability?

Where was Madara during this entire Shisui eye period?

Why did Itachi not plant the crow into Sasuke (during their last fight)? Or in fact, use Shisui's eye against Sasuke?

Why didn't Itachi use the eye on Madara?

If Itachi knew that Sasuke would try to transplant his eyes, it would make sense that Itachi knew that Madara would be around Sasuke as well. Why the fuck was Itachi so surprised last chapter when he found out that Madara revealed his secret to Sasuke?

Since when is Shisui the most powerful Genjutsu user of the Uchiha? Is this a new revelation? Fucking Bee said it like it was common knowledge... :\

If Shisui's technique can only be used once per every 10 years...when did Shisui use it so that he knew what his technique was in the first place?

In what state were the eyes when Itachi received them? Were they regular Sharingans? If so, how could they become Mangekyou outside of a body? If they were already Mangekyou, why did Itachi say that he couldn't use it on Sasuke at the time?

How does Nagato "sucking" up Chakra make him complete when he is an Edo Tensei zombie? I thought he had infinite chakra, etc.?

What is Madara doing? Isn't this a bit important for him to know? That Itachi has been freed from ET and is talking about Shisui? Madara should indeed know where the hell everyone is right? He's been about to locate people with his scouter in the past.

Why was it that Nagato was a cripple about 3 chapters ago but now he's fine? What changed?

So glad I stopped reading this shit after the Pain arc. Since that arc ended I have yet to see anyone in this thread make positive comments about this series for more than two weeks straight (excluding the "usual suspect(s)").

Okay I was just being generous. He was only badass at the start of the battle, fact. As soon as Pain pinned Naruto to the ground with his rods, it went downhill from there.

In here Luffy just used Gear 3rd and wasn't shown to be shrunk. So unless Oda just skipped that part, I think Luffy overcame that weakness.

The big three never referred to anything but dominance of Shonen Jump's weekly rankings and cover pages. It wasn't popularity in the west (otherwise OP wouldn't be there and the prevalence wouldn't exist in Japan) and it was always just referring to Shonen Jump (otherwise Bleach wouldn't be there but rather a shoujo of some form). The big three used to be OP, Naruto and Bleach because they dominated the weekly ratings and were featured up front and center on almost every front cover or color page. Even if more series were featured, they were still taking up the most space and were in front of other characters.

Now that Bleach's popularity has declined the big three has far as Shonen Jump is concerned is OP, Naruto and Toriko. Its just that now the big three isn't continuous with english scanlation popularity.

Is that really confirmed? Bleach sells more than Toriko per volume.

Halfway through the volume, but one thing I still can't wrap my head around is how the half of the world doesn't know about the trees dying. Sure it was night time in the US but in the other side of the world it was daytime when every fucking tree just died.

I always saw it as in KNIM the guy is laughably insensitive, while in GE the guy is laughably oversensitive.

I'm more talking about the side characters and their reactions. In the KNIM universe everyone would've blamed Utsumi for everything without bothering to ever try to see things from his perspective. Yeah the one friend of Yuki slapped him in the face but she later realizes that she crossed a line and apologizes, even realizing she probably broke up with him. I was pretty flabbergasted that they had that in there, then again my expectations for understanding the main character's feelings in these comics/shows is pretty low. The girl is always, always misunderstood and the guy is a "Baka".

The hell? When did he loose him that makes you so sure he's not coming back? Hollow Ichigo is an integral part of the character. The only way he won't come back is if Ichigo is at post-training levels right now since Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu merged back then. If he's at a previous stage, I'm sure he'll be back. One thing is crazy though, Ichigo has the most tools to his disposal than any other character. Bankai, Hollow Mask, and now Fullbring.
