Hmm, I wouldn't say Ichigo loves Rukia. I'd say the two have quite a different bond from everyone else. Whether it's love is yet to be seen.
She's clearly jealous of that very unique bond though. I think she simply wants to have a unique bond with Ichigo as well, but because she doesn't, it hurts, or sum ol' bullshit like that. But I would say that she is also sad because of what Ichigo is going through as well. She feels useless because in Bleach, power generally equates to actual battle strength. And while her ability is unique and pretty incredible (this is recognized in the manga), as far as battling goes she cannot be of any use.
As far as Inoue being dumb because she loves Ichigo even though he is oblivious to her feelings, I think that's a little harsh. When it comes to emotions, it becomes an entirely different ballgame from logic. I think it would be dumb if she randomly started falling in love with Ichigo, but it was established from the start that Ichigo was pretty much the only one she'd have the hots for. She just loves him, and doesn't love Ishida. Her recognizing Ishida's love for her is irrelevant, imo.

Nah but, I know where you're coming. It really depends on how you look at it. I agree with you that character development is lacking in certain areas. I also agree that some things could definitely use better execution.
I'm gonna have to disagree with this completely. Now personally, despite all of this debate we're having about relationships in Bleach, I'm not really one to care much about shippings in a manga like Bleach. My main problem is that Ishida's emotional connection to Orihime was ignored not only by Orihime himself, but Ishida too (with the exception of him going to Hueco Mundo to save Orihime). To me this is just abandoned character development that could've made the characters in Bleach more interesting. Instead however we just got Orihime whining all the time.

Ichigo and Rukia has a specific bond which she wishes she could have as well.
Plus she feels useless because she is unable to help the person she cares for the most when they are unhappy/in turmoil while Rukia is able to achieve that with ease.
Orihime has fought her whole entire life, neither of these things should be problems.

You could say that for a lot of shounen characters sadly (eg Sakura in Naruto) plus its worse when the target of the character's affection is totally blind to it(or doesn't give a fuck like The Sauce).
Yeah it's a pretty terrible trope. I have no problem if it's for humor purposes ala Chichi, Bulma, and Boa Hancock but when they get real emotional about it, it just ends up as being pointlessly whiny.

It's not even only a shonen thing it's a fact of life .
Lol no, not even close. The emotions Sakura and Orihime towards their "lovers" is in no way realistic by any means whatsoever. How could you even say that with a straight face unless you don't know anything?

I haven't had any real problems with anything so far honestly.
Comes with actually paying attention.
Most complaints go like Bigone's.
"This is stupid. This came out of nowhere!"
"Uh, it has been established since chapter 1."
"Nowhere!"

I have to agree with Fresh. Oftentimes, people will say that things don't make sense without actually looking into it
Yeah...sorry guys I already knew about the charm Isshin gave to Ichigo. Matter of fact a friend of mine (who suggested reading Bleach) spoiled me on Isshin being a Shinigami even before that. My problem is that no matter if it was planned or not, it's still pretty sudden and lame. I went into Bleach fully aware of Isshin's status and when it happened in the first chapters of the Vizard arc I thought the reveal was ridiculous.
Maybe I haven't adequately explained to you guys why this doesn't work. Well, where to begin? For one Isshin for the entire series has been established as a comedic character, so the shift into a serious role is not only sudden but also out of character. Previously the only time we've seen him serious was in front of Ichigo's mom grave, which is understandable cause it was a very emotional time for both of them and a really well paneled scene with actual emotional impact. To me, it seems odd that a Shinigami stationed on Earth would be dicking around so much like Isshin normally does. You can make the argument that he's using a mod soul...but if that's the case why did he shift from comedic, serious, then comedic in front of Ichigo's grave?
Secondly why was Ichigo completely oblivious to this? Out of all the years Ichigo spent with his father, he never used his natural ghost sensing talent to see his father go into Shinigami mode? Is Ichigo's senses really that incompetent? Same could be said about anyone in the series who sees spirits. You could argue that he's like Urahara where he's abandoned or striped (in Urahara's case) his Shinigami ways, but why does he don the clothes if this is the case? Why does he still call himself a Shinigami?
Why is no one in Soul Society aware of Ichigo's ancestry for the entire Soul Society arc? Throughout the entire arc it was blatantly said his name was Kurosaki Ichigo and yet no one made the family connection?
All of these are real, blatant plot holes no matter how you put it. There just wasn't enough buildup, or
lack of buildup to achieve the balance a reveal of this magnitude needs.
I have no problem with the concept. I didn't when I was spoiled, I didn't when it was revealed. My main problem is how Kubo decided to approach it when revealing it when he could've built it up waaaay more than he did, which would've made the impact of seeing Isshin in a Shinigami uniform way more effective and dynamic.

@ Beam you're going to have to stop that multiquote shit unless you have more than one or two sentences to say. Edit your post or something, it's really annoying and off-putting, and I don't want to have to quote everyone of your points.
